Heads up, there's now 20 episodes from John O'Hurley's Family Feud are now on Prime! Where? Link? I just checked my Amazon Prime....they're there. 20 episodes from 2007.

Try searching Family Feud 07. It's there.

I didn't see it in Fremantle North America.
Yet again, just like with Richard Karn, they don't have the first season with this particular host on there.

This means now only the Karn and Harvey eras are missing from Buzzr on Amazon. And I'm totally OK with that.

It's only a matter of time before the dreaded Harvey Feud plagues Buzzr.

We'll just have to wait and see. At this point, it's hard to say what Buzzr will do. I'd be fine with the show on Buzzr.
I am hoping we'll see O'Hurley end up on the network soon (same with Karn. BTW, can we put his episodes on Prime too?)

Okay, I'm stepping in.
I know, we talk about Harvey a lot around here. I'm starting to hate the hate, though. (Is that even a thing? Come at me if it isn't.) I'm not surprised about about how many threads have to bring this up. It's too many. I don't care if there's an all-purpose thread to express your opinion, but can we not continuously mention it everywhere?

So excited because I got the Amazon Prime service streaming through my TiVo working properly now finally after constant tries. This will work great for when the antenna acts up with the Buzzr TV signal and I need a recording of an episode without glitches.

I've started watching their versions of the Blockbusters episodes they have (they have the first 20 they've aired so far) and the quality looks better here than what I've seen on TV and has more of a GSN-esque look to it (minus the on-screen logos, obnoxious time compression, and splitscreens and such). I think it has to do with the fact that it's from the HQ streaming platform and not part of an average multiplexed SD television signal like Buzzr is for most local affiliates. I don't receive Buzzr via a cable or satellite provider so I don't know what that in itself would look like or if that version of the signal looks any better besides the obvious lack of antenna issues that one would have getting it plain over the air. I hope they add the other episodes of it and the other classics soon.

I hope they add the other episodes of it and the other classics soon. Though with GSN, they really have suffered from Digital Destruction recently. Their older 4:3 shows now have those stupid forced borders that they sadly won't get rid of, and on occasion, they'll have a "film look". Regarding the latter, you know what I'm talking about, don't you? It's the same thing that ruined season 7 on All in the Family on DVD, before Shout! Factory heard the complaints and fixed it for seasons 8 and 9 and for the Complete Series. Why is GSN giving their older shows a "film look"? Are they reconverting the tapes a second or third time? That's a boneheaded waste of money right there. And if anything, they look a lot worse with this look than without it. When an older videotaped show is run, it needs to have 60fps (NTSC) or 50fps (PAL) to achieve fluidness. Thankfully, Buzzr usually gets it, though a few of their aired shows did have a "film look" (i.e. Wordplay pilot and Dream Maker).

I think the "forced borders" from what they sound like and look like based on one or two recent YT uploads, are the HD bars on each side of the screen that are seen in full more on the GSN HD feed, where black bars on the left and the right sides would be usually be seen in a 4:3 show fitted for a 16:9 signal. Instead of the traditional black bars, they seem to have opted for something else. I guess for me in these days with technology and being able to rip a recording from the box to my PC as a HQ file, I could just crop the edges with them out if they annoyed me that badly. I guess they just need to zoom in a bit more on the picture so the SD version of the feed can't pick them up. I think the issue with GSN is that they had tapes converted from the originals to DigiBeta (which was acceptable for a long period of time), and now that broadcasting standards are moving into yet another newer direction of using hard drives and high quality computer files instead of videotape to air shows, they are trying to move with the times and keep up. I guess since they're not leasing the entire Goodson-Todman and Sony libraries anymore (and with a show like WoF they're leasing episodes from the 2010's that are already in an HD format); and are instead leasing limited #'s of episodes at a time, it can't be costing them that much.
The Wordplay pilot to me looked like it came from someone's personal VHS tape collection more than anything. As far as the film look in general goes, it depends on what software they're using. I'm not saying they're using this program in particular, but Sony Vegas is an example, that has a function that automatically gives videos a fine blur effect and you have to turn it off if you don't want it to look like that.

It's a bump, I know, but I thought this might be of use to someone - a full list of shows and episodes available from Buzzr on Amazon Prime Video (each 20-episode pack being labeled by the latter as a "Season"). All titles listed are as used on Amazon.
* Beat The Clock 79: Shows 1-20 ("Season 1"). * Blockbusters 81: Shows 100-119 ("Season 1"). * Body Language 85: Shows 160-179 ("Season 1"). * Card Sharks 78: Shows 1-10/13-15/17-23 ("Season 1") and 24-43 ("Season 2"). * Card Sharks 86: CBS shows 1-20 ("Season 1"). * Child's Play 83: Shows 84-99/101-104 ("Season 1"). * Double Dare 76 & 77: Shows 1-20 ("Season 1").
* Family Feud 80: ABC shows 80-061 through 80-080 ("Season 1") and 80-081 through 80-100 ("Season 2"). * Family Feud 88: CBS shows 1-20 ("Season 1") and 21-40 ("Season 2"). * Family Feud 99: Shows 99-033 through 99-052 ("Season 1"). Note that these are presented in production order - they were shuffled up for broadcast in syndication, with #38 airing first. * Family Feud 07: Shows 07-001 through 07-011 and 07-013 through 07-021 ("Season 1"). These were almost certainly shuffled up for broadcast as well.
* I've Got A Secret: Shows ranging from January 4 through November 13, 1961 ("Season 1") and November 20, 1961 through April 2, 1962 ("Season 2"). * Match Game 73: Pilot A, plus shows 1-6/8-18/20-21 ("Season 1"). * Match Game 75: Shows 369-375/377-389 ("Season 1") and 390-409 ("Season 2"). * Match Game 78: Shows 1201-1220 ("Season 1") and 1221-1240 ("Season 2").
* Password Plus 79: Shows 1-7/9-21 ("Season 1") and 22-41 ("Season 2"). * Press Your Luck 84: Shows 81-100 ("Season 1") and 101-120 ("Season 2"). * Supermarket Sweep 2000: Shows 1-20 ("Season 1") and 21-40 ("Season 2"). Also shuffled up for broadcast - for instance, PAX aired #5 first and #1 sixth. * Super Password 84: Shows 1-20 ("Season 1") and 21-40 ("Season 2"). * Tattletales 74: Shows 1-10/31-40 ("Season 1"). * To Tell The Truth 61: Shows ranging from January 2 through August 28, 1961 ("Season 1"). * What's My Line? 55: Shows ranging from January 2 through May 15 ("Season 1") and May 22 through October 15, 1955 ("Season 2").
And if you want something newer than any of these, Fremantle also has... * Hole In The Wall: FOX shows 1-3/5-8/10-11/13-15/17/19-24/26 ("Season 1"). Also shuffled up for broadcast, given that the displayed airdates jump all over the place.
