America Says 2nd season will premiere in November in prime time... Hey, I like that decision. Let's see what kinds of ratings it'll pull in. Can it be as successful as it's been in the pre-evening hours?

The less Harvey Feud we get, the better. I didn't want to say it that way, because I'm really sick of being attacked by people. I'm trying to take the more neutral approach, while putting in the truth. While the idea of one (or two?) less airings of Harvey is a good thing, I'm more likely interested in seeing if putting this in primetime is going to stick.

The less butchering of the English language we get, the better.
Fixed.

GSN put this up on YouTube today. Surprisingly, there's four people on a team still.

Strange. I thought it was confirmed that five people would be on a team.

It was announced on Buzzerblog and on Randy West's Facebook page the other day that America Says will be airing in syndication in 85% of the country starting this Fall. No word on whether they will be new shows or reruns of the shows on GSN. I suspect it might replace Millionaire on some stations, and there's also 25 Words or Less supposedly coming into national syndication this Fall after a test run last SUmmer on a few stations.

Good news, America Says from GSN is going in syndication this fall. The show has the same guy, same rules, and $15,000 bonus game. And I can't wait to see it.

I think it will be reruns from GSN that will be airing in syndication.

Just so people are aware, I moved a thread regarding syndication to the America Says all-purpose thread.

America Says is like Family Feud, but with fewer players per team. One team is given a survey (all surveys have seven answers to them), and they have to get as many answers as they can before their time is up. If someone speaks out of turn, five seconds get wiped from the clock. Whatever answers are left on the board after the time is up are to be guessed by the opposing team. The other team gets to keep answering if they get one of the remaining answers correct. Now, the key here is that you get the first letter of each answer's word(s). If an answer has multiple words, multiple letters are given. Link: America Says [Wikipedia] If a team gets all of the answers required before the time is up, they get bonus points. The team with the most points wins the main game, then goes onto the bonus round and a chance to win $15,000. The bonus round starts off with a survey with one answer. Starting with the captain of the team, they take turns trying to guess the answers to four surveys. Each survey has one extra answer (one, two, three, four) than the survey before it. At any point in time, a team can "pass" a survey by hitting a red button in the middle of a semicircle. They can only use the button once, and after the third survey is finished, the button is null and void. Again, going out of turn costs you five seconds. If a team member gets answers correct, they keep going. Any team that doesn't get all four surveys goes home with just $1,000.

Just curious if anyone knows how many new episodes they recorded for Season 3. It appears that starting on Dec. 2, GSN will air new episodes at both 4:30pm and at 9:00pm. No clue how long this will last. As of Nov. 27, 93 new episodes have aired from Season 3; no new eps on Nov. 28 or Nov. 29. Season 1 had 65 shows, Season 2 had 95.
