That's quite a delay there - over one year from the original intended date.
Now we've seen all the episodes that have ever been produced so far, with the Season 5 finale coming up.

Now that ABC is preparing to launch new seasons of scripted fare, are there any new episodes of Press Your Luck scheduled for January or maybe even into February (since at least one show won't launch until late-February or March)? I have to admit, I redeveloped an interest in Press Your Luck for the first time since 2016 in recent weeks, especially since the Tomarken version has now entered what I call the better period for the series on Buzzr (I really enjoy the late-1985 and 1986 episodes greatly). In fact, I've expanded my interest to the current version with Elizabeth Banks as well. I never would have thought I'd ever be interested in the current series, but it's actually pretty good. After seeing a brief clip on YT this morning, I discovered there was a fading effect between slides, but unlike in the 1980s ti was likely done using computers. I downloaded all the episodes that aired so far a week or two ago. I would love to see the Prize-a-Palooza being hit for the first time - I found out somewhere that that slide was never hit. What year did this slide debut? And I don't know why I still call them slides - since they presently use images on computer screens. Then again, Microsoft Powerpoint has slides, but the digital variety; and maybe certain Adobe software uses slides too. Also, what prizes made their debut in the 2023 season? I may consider skimming through all the episodes from the 2023 season (whatever aired so far) after I get off work this evening and maybe into tomorrow to see what I can find. in terms of the Adobe I do not think they use the word slides in their 2 video programs but they probably like 15 different programs over the years in terms of differently titled programs Adobe has so I could be wrong, a common user of Adobe could be wrong. in terms of prices, the only prize that I have seen lead to 1,000,000 win so far when is teslas. since they lead to possibly 150,000-200,000 dollars. I have seen nothing else make it so I guess if you going make sure to put that on the list with a story if that is your goal. (I could see someone going on the shop to get some 'weird' prize that is not worth that amount but is not easy to get otherwise.) maybe as the show goes on we might see something else if the show starts noticing it (which some of the prices either this season or last season seem to be catching up) but this seems to be safe. anyway I did not log is to talk about that, (even though it was some thing I have thought of for a while) I was just curious if anyone noticed that someone said 2 people lost it all already today at the end of the credits with complete mic even though the two people who were down there did not lose it all. I am not sure if they are talking about other tapings or if there is some rule meaning that people who do not make it to the bonus round do not keep their winnings. I would love to hear if anyone knows the answer since I have not heard anything that suggests that only the winner takes the winnings even though there are other shows cough cough jeopardy cough cough that do this so I do not rule it out.

I haven’t seen anything about Season 6. Should I be worried?

I always had the understanding, way back to the original 80s Press Your Luck, that only the winner kept their money/prizes. Pretty sure that is the case with the ABC version too, the other two get nothing. In the returning champion days, they would keep whatever they earned the previous days, but nothing from the game they lost.

I haven’t seen anything about Season 6. Should I be worried? You know, now that you mentioned it, I am wondering the same thing too. I did a Google News search and found no press release for the ABC Summer Fun & Games block for 2024. I read somewhere one time that during the writers' and actors' strikes last summer and fall, ratings for Press Your Luck were not that great, except when it aired on Thursdays in January during the final weeks before scripted shows launched their new seasons. I am thinking many viewers enjoyed scripted shows so much, they may have had every reason to go to bed early during the strikes. Normally we would see a press release for ABC's summer programming by now, but considering we haven't seen any yet, I think the future of Press Your Luck on ABC is looking pretty grim. I am thinking ABC may have other plans for the summer schedule - maybe they'll rerun the short seasons of scripted shows this summer, perhaps? Either way, it would be a shame if Press Your Luck gets cancelled by ABC, since I had developed an interest in said revival late last year.

I can see another season returning for Press Your Luck and the other ABC game shows, probably for next fall or winter if the IATSE strike doesn’t go ahead

The show is coming back for a couple of repeats this May, per The Futon Critic. Maybe that's a good sign?
UPDATE: I've read that casting had started a couple of weeks ago.
