Hello Everyone,
My apologies for not having written in so long, but I myself have been quite busy this year.
That being said, I'd like to discuss something that's been on my mind for quite a few years: the passing of Dick Clark.
As many of us know here, on April 17, 2012, Dick Clark underwent Routine Outpatient Surgery for an Enlarged Prostate at the local Hospital (St. John's Health Center) in Santa Monica, California; 24 hours later, April 18, 2012, while recuperating from the said Surgery, he had a Massive Heart Attack at his Malibu home--and ultimately died there at age 82, survived by his widow, Kari Wigton, and 3 grown children (an older son, Dick Clark, Jr., aka RAC Clark, from his first marriage to teen sweetheart Barbara Mallory and younger boy-girl twins, Duane and Cindy, from his second marriage to Loraine Martin, neither marriage of which lasted very long in either case).
Frankly, over the last few years, I got to dig deeper on Dick Clark's passing and asked myself this question: Should a Wrongful Death Lawsuit be filed by his next of kin? To answer my own question, I have to say yes, and I'll explain why: because there are OTHER non-Surgical Procedures to successfully treat and combat Enlarged Prostates in Men.
Among other things include Prescribed Medication including Beta Blockers such as Cardura, Minipress and Hytrin that Dick Clark's Primary Care Physician, Leslie Kaplan, M.D., could have easily prescribed Dick Clark to successfully treat his Enlarged Prostate that could have kept him VERY MUCH alive and kicking--still Physically Disabled, yes, but most importantly, still ALIVE and "Rockin' The New Year" every year alongside Ryan Seacrest instead of Ryan going it alone since Dick Clark's 2012 passing.
Therefore, it's my ultimate personal opinion that Dick Clark would NEVER have had his fatal Massive Heart Attack had he NEVER had the so-called Routine Outpatient Enlarged Prostate Procedure.
Anyone else agree?
