According to Randy West, Game Show Legend Jay Wolpert has Died after a long battle with Dementia.
Among many other Game Shows Jay Wolpert Created and/or Produced included Alex Trebek's "Double Dare" for CBS, "Blackout" (also for CBS) with future Network "Wheel" host Bob Goen, and The Family Channel's (now Freeform) "Wait 'Til You Have Kids."
Personally, I remember Jay Wolpert as the Creator of the Disney Channel Original Game Show "Teen Win, Lose or Draw," hosted by Marc Price, a Game Show which I PERSONALLY remember watching every chance I got at age 7, with 65 half-hour Episodes Videotaped in 1989 & 1990, Respectively, at The Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando, Florida; after Jay Wolpert stepped down as Showrunner after the first season of 39 episodes, he was succeeded as such by the duo of Scott Stone & David Stanley for the 2nd season of 26 half-hour episodes taped in Summer 1990 at Disney-MGM Studios in Orlando.
In honor of the life and legacy of Jay Wolpert, I PERSONALLY am Requesting that various Jay Wolpert creations be uploaded, in the coming days & weeks, to either YouTube or DailyMotion--including an episode of "Teen Win, Lose or Draw" featuring Josie Davis of TV's "Charles in Charge" and the future voice of "Disney's Aladdin," Scott Weinger (then appearing opposite Gregory Harrison on the short-lived 1990 sitcom "The Family Man"), who later appeared on TV's "Full House" after "Disney's Aladdin."
RIP Jay Wolpert, and God Speed!!! 2022 Sucks A$$ already.

Okay, I merged threads. Please don't try to make your own personal tribute threads, stevearino. If you already see the obituary, post your thing in there.

My apologies, Mandy, and everyone.
I was gonna post it FIRST as soon as I saw it on Facebook, but it seems Vahan beat me to it.
Thanks very much.

In Summer 1996 Jay Wolpert allowed a group of people from the early days of alt.tv.game-shows to hang out at a taping of either Wait till you have Kids or SHopping SPree. Ron Pearson on SHopping Spree became possibly the first host to give an on-air shout out to the online game show community, as IIRC he thanked someone for doing an early webpage on that show.
