The December 13, 1982 episode, which is Vanna's first as the permanent hostess, is labeled as Episode #2016. A Teen Week episode labeled December 29, 1982 is labeled as Episode #2023. Is this an instant of listing the Episode # wrong or is it the only instant (that I've seen) of airing episodes out of order?

Where did you see the Teen episode labeled as #2023?

wheeloffortunehistory.fandom.com/wiki/Daytime_episodes_known_to_exist December 13, 1982 (#2016/Vanna's first official show: Robin {Day 3 - $11,150}/Louis/Linda {taped 12/5/82}) – held by Paley Center, and aired by GSN in 2007. Also circulates as a studio master copy, with slate. December 15, 1982 (#2018) – held by the Library of Congress. It is possible that this is a mislabeled copy of #2016, but this is uncertain. December 29, 1982 (#2023/Teen Week, Day 3: Chris/Evangelina/Jonathan) – circulates among collectors. December 1982 (Teen Week, Day ?) – circulates among collectors. One collector lists a Teen Week 1982 show as "last half only".

Unless this was a typo, maybe there were reruns during Christmas Week?

Maybe so. I've always wondered where this information comes from since most of these episodes don't exist anymore. For example, how do we know that there were so many rerun weeks in the summer of 1981? How would we find out if Christmas Week 1982 was a week of reruns?
Also, even though it is not listed as such on the page, there had to have been two Teen Weeks from December 22, 1986 to January 2, 1987. 4 of the 5 days of the first week used to be on YouTube. The finale of the second week (1/2/87) is in part on YouTube now.
