RIP. In addition to working behind the scenes on Family Feud, Kristin was a substitute model on the NBC version of Card Sharks, TPIR (episodes from Feb 13-20, 1984) and Classic Concentration (week of Oct 3-7, 1988). Was Kristin the first Barker’s Beauty to have passed?

I wonder if Family Feud will mention the passing

I think it is strongly possible that Kristin may very well be the first TPIR model from the CBS run to pass away. If there were other models who passed away, I would have found out a very long time ago. I've been watching TPIR since I was about 3 or 4 years old, and I do not recall hearing tell of any substitute models on the show except for rotating models during December 1983 through March 1984, and Kyle filling in on occasion in the late 1980s. I do know that all of the show's recurring models - including the two original models - during the show's run are reportedly still alive and well.
Also, she was the second "Card Sharks" dealer to pass away. Lois Areno died in December 1999 after taking a lethal overdose of sleeping pills in a hotel room.

She's only no. 3 in terms of the original Card Sharks models to pass away, Markie Post was the second overall.

Oh. I had forgotten about Markie Post. I always thought of her as an actress and not a model.
Also, wasn't Kristin on "Card Sharks" when a contestant got four threes in a row in the Money Cards? Or when the push rule for doubles came into effect?

So that means Janice Baker, Ann Pennington, and Bettina (surname unknown) are likely the only known card dealers from Perry's "Card Sharks" reportedly still alive and well. Are there others I missed?
