I remember Jerry. On his talk show, he was frequently sending kids to boot camp. Or was that Maury Povich who did that?
I remember there being a parody of Jerry Springer on an episode of Arthur, during the intro to the segment "Arthur's Family Feud".

He was on the Tom/Whoopi-era Squares during its first season, he was also on the '98 revival of Match Game where Vicki Lawrence was a regular but without any usage of Charles Nelson Reilly. Oh, he was also on Celebrity Family Feud summer series, it took place within the first 5 years of that summer series or January 2020-taped. If there's any indication, Celebrity Family Feud would be ABC's longest running summer series as it already reached the 100th episode, I don't think any primetime summer series has ever reached the 200th episode(or in their case, 400th game as the host's outfit changes after each game within the episode).

He also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, Drop the Mic, and The Masked Singer, where he competed as "Beetle".

Oh, he was also on the GSN remake of I've Got A Secret with Billy Beane, former Oakland A's GM.

wow he was only 79, seems like he was older.
I'll bet GSN will dig out at least a couple episodes of Baggage for a tribute.
Or they could be really shocking and do a 1 time lease of the show where you had to face a personal fear for cash.

He was never as slick and polished of a host as Barker, Martindale or Bergeron in their primes, but Jerry was a natural at delivering the jokes while hosting Baggage, and was pretty much flawless in doing the job, without being obnoxious. A wild life he lived, for sure. I appreciate the fact he never tried to pretend his talk show was anything more than lowest common denominator television.
