I find that MGHSH tended to use mostly celebrities from NBC daytime programming, though there are a few exceptions (i.e. the "Too Close for Comfort" week, which involved stars from that sitcom which aired on ABC, soon to enter syndication by the time that week aired).

Network game shows at the time, when they had soap stars, usually had soap stars from shows on that network. Two exceptions at least: General Hospital actors did a week of Scrabble and Stuart Damon of GH did CBS $25K Pyramid.

Stuart Damon also appeared on Tattletales Steven Ford appeared on Password Plus on the week where Jack Narz hosted while Tom Kennedy played, for a couple of segments of an episode. Also, Patty Weaver, when she was on Days Of Our Lives appeared on Tattletales (with the orange scoreboards, that is). Of course, Bill Cullen appeared on Tattletales while still hosting daytime game shows on another network a couple of times.
