When you go to Google Groups, you will be greeted with this message: "Effective February 15, 2024, Google Groups will no longer support new Usenet content. Posting and subscribing will be disallowed, and new content from Usenet peers will not appear. Viewing and searching of historical data will still be supported as it is done today." I do believe you'll still be able to view old ATGS posts after that day. It was from searching these posts how I found about about the episode status of $25K Pyramid after GSN acquired the Bob Stewart library. groups.google.com/g/alt.tv.game-shows/c/4mH8c-ryFzI/m/9xNghpl-d44J?pli=1

I did remember reading a post from someone from the now-defunct RealityTVRules boards (the Press Your Luck forum, to be specific, but I never got to see such thread due to the closure of RTR), that there was not only flashing light sequences, but there may have been slide sequences (as in "square rotations"). I know this because I learned that $750 does not appear in Squares 5 and 7 in the same frame; and $2,250 and $2,000 or Lose-a-Whammy does not appear in Squares 1 and 15 at the same time. I would think that each square can hold a maximum number of slides (they ran on slide projectors, if I recall), and many slide projectors back in the day held only 80 or 140 slides depending on the brand and model.
Was there any information on square/slide rotations posted on ATGS as well?

Awe...now where can we go to insist that there was a John Davidson $10,000 Pyramid? Or ask how Hot Potato was played?
Serious answer...yes, enjoy it for the archives.

The ATGS archives from the first ten years that is, 1994 through to 2003 before the original crew founded The Game Show Forum
ATGS was where I first found out about TPIR being on GSN (prior to the launch of Youtube). I first received and watched GSN near the end of 2000
