Saw the video earlier this afternoon. That pretty much explains why the College Tournament is delayed.
Wishing for a speedy recovery for Alex.

Being that this is a significant development with a major host/show, added the information Kaos provided in a thread in the news section.

Last night's 3/8 episode of Jeopardy! had LIz Mccarthy who, with her mom Pat, won $120K on Blockbusters in a month long, 20 match run in Fall 1981. Liz mentioned during her interview last night that her Mom won $50K in 1959 on the original Tic Tac Dough. Whether she was given answers in advance or not is not known; but that version was rigged to some degree. Liz was trailing by $400 going into Final J! last night with a clue that all three players got right and did not win her game.

I'm a few episodes behind but I want to skip to last night's episode just to see her.

Catching up on episodes and the "Perfect responses for Jeopardy!" category where the answers were already questions reminded me of Gene Shalit. On the final episode of the original version, there was a clip shown of Shalit on a celebrity episode just asking a silly question with the correct answer in it enough to score the money amounts because he disliked using the phrase "What is...?" when responding. It was pretty funny. He'd probably enjoy that category.

I can recall once when the correct question was "Who?" and that's just how the contestant answered

I haven't watched this show in a while, but caught the end of today's episode in preparation for tonight's hockey game (plus I'd rather watch this than Harvey Feud on GSN). The winner ended up winning less than what 2nd and 3rd took home: $599. Everyone bet high and it cost them all. It's sad because they all played great before the final round and each player entered it with more than $11,000.

and I thought the clue was easy. It's rare that I get a Final Clue that is a triple stumper

Well, thank God it isn't sexual harassment.
I'm tired of that evil and demonic #MeToo movement.

I know this is going to air on FOX News, and people might have their opinions on the network, but it's Trebek talking Jeopardy (and possibly other things). If you're tuning in for either broadcast... Raise your hand.

Today is the season finale of J!. The next six weeks will almost assuredly be reruns of the TofC, COllege, and Teacher's tournament, with the new season starting on 9/10
