Regarding GSN's last Sale of the Century lease in 2014, it is not known how many episodes were included, but they probably would have aired up to and including the syndicated finale had the show continued airing into April 2015.
We know that #S-153 got skipped (both GSN and Buzzr skipped it), and assuming one of Lisa Munoz's episodes would have gotten skipped (Buzzr did skip one of her episodes, in fact), airing the finale of the syndicated series would have brought GSN's episode count for that lease to an even 150 episodes, which was more than Press Your Luck or Eubanks' Card Sharks (which had 130 and 140 respectively).
I did the math using an Excel spreadsheet.
Also, regarding the 2016 lease of Eubanks' Card Sharks, GSN didn't include the December 31, 1987 episode, but keep in mind that the holiday-decorated episodes were taped after many of the January 1988 episodes were.

In response to a question from June 27, 2017 (posted by a since-deleted member), "Just want to ask, does anybody know the total number of 1977, 1978 and 1974 episodes are in this current lease of Match Game? For some strange reason, it seems as if the number is greater than 400."
I responded with this;
Jun 28, 2017 0:51:18 GMT -5 johnnyo said: My quick count has a 295 show sequence from MG 77/78, a 116 show sequence from MG74, and at least 8 skips, which comes to 403. Assuming I must be off somewhere, I would guess the lease is 400.

Actually, Buzzr showed all of Lisa Munoz's episodes. It was #S-199 that was skipped.

I returned to these forums in July 2018 after GameTV launched three new classics. Actually, Buzzr showed all of Lisa Munoz's episodes. It was #S-199 that was skipped. I guess I stand corrected. I had initially thought they had skipped one of Munoz's episodes based on the fact that one of her episodes midway through her run was not uploaded to YT. Either way, because #S-199 got skipped by Buzzr (and likely could have also been the case with GSN) there would have been an even 150 available episodes in order to get to the finale, but GSN missed that opportunity due to losing the rights in April 2015. If not for that, we probably would have seen the finale sometime later in April 2015 or early May 2015.

My theory that I have had for years is that if $ale of the Century had continued after 2015, their next lease would have consisted of 65 episodes from July-November 1988. and they probably would have skipped some along the way, like they did with November 1988-March 1989. And if $ale had continued, then GSN probably would have saw fit to continue to the 700's with Press Your Luck. Instead, they ended up picking up 170 episodes each of the latter and the CBS Card Sharks that they had shown before.

A different subject:
When are we going to see the remaining 38 episodes of Hey Yahoo?

A quietly 2nd subject change: We're close to one year since Millionaire started re-running again on GSN. If this trend stays, and if they're are no more skips, when do you think they will get to the last episode of the original series, and do you think they may show Super Millionaire again and somehow show all of the 10th Anniversary episodes as well? For me somehow, I see GSN showing Greed again, but I think I'm stretching it, but that's my opinion.

Me thinks that if WWTBAM continues, they will use a random season of MV and couple it with 25WoL.
Also, with TTD coming back, I would not be surprised if GSN brings back a Wink Season of the classic TTD (1984-85, maybe?)

On GSN’s website the schedule stops at the early morning hours of February 26th, and Tug of Words is airing at 8:00 AM. Why?

On GSN’s website the schedule stops at the early morning hours of February 26th, and Tug of Words is airing at 8:00 AM. Why? Listings on TV Insider suggest that Catch 21 fills the weekday 8am Et hour starting Monday. Blank Slate gets demoted to 2pm Et and Master Minds (reruns) returns to the 6pm Et slot.

Disappointed that GSN is taking off an airing of America Says during the week. My guess is Blank Slate isn't doing well in the ratings at 6pm ET so they're burning off episodes at 2pm ET. That's the only thing I can think of, and they probably think the most logical time slot is after Match Game.
Who knows? We can only speculate.

Sadly, but I think it was predictable, the 3rd edition of Celebrities on WWTBAM is skipped (five episodes). Do hope The Game Show Channel makes "full episodes" from clips that are YouTube to make-up for it.
