And to respond to one comment above, I would be very surprised if Harvey Feud is on the initial schedule. Media reports specifically stated that Steve would not be on Buzzr at its launch, though there seem to be plans to add the show later. There are going to be some folks around here who aren't going to like that (those who don't get the network don't count). Get ready for the blasting of that decision... I wish you were more optimistic about the folks you had referenced, Mandoli.

I just wished Mandoli had a better prediction about these folks.

There will be people pissed about it as opposed to just not watching it. I see no problem with it being on. I just don't want it to wind up like GSN and TV Land where it seems to be half of the schedule or more.
It it really isn't half I don't need correction. Any time I look at the guide and notice them it's about all that is on.

I wish you were more optimistic about the folks you had referenced, Mandoli. Oh, you can be sure that anyone who gets the network will be slightly less than enthused. How would you like me to word it so it's positive? I can't turn things into rainbows and ponies.

So, is anyone here excited enough that they are getting this channel at launch that they will be recording for posterity and be willing to share?

She ain't lying tho. In my area, Harvey Feud comes on 4 times a day as it is (this could get trimmed back to 2 when new shows debut in syndication this fall). I don't need another channel running it a crapload.
Though I'm going to be fair and reserve judgment until I see a schedule with it on there because it's been stated that Buzzr will be giving EVERY host a shot somehow. And most of the rest of the shows they have to offer look like fun. I doubt it'll be overrun like GSN does with it. Their press pieces and all the articles mention that they have a game show library of 40,000+ episodes. It'd be pointless to use that as a selling point and an eye catcher to just run the same show a jillion times a day.

They can never run the 98 Match Game and I'd be very happy.

I have a set up here in Allentown with Windows Media Center. I'm looking to record the first moments of the channel, whatever might air. However, in this market, Buzzr is not replacing Bounce TV so the channel (WTXF-DT4 Philadelphia) is not on-air currently. If the channel is available before the network launches, it shouldn't be a problem.

That's what I am worried about here. Don't believe it's replacing the existing subchannel on our Fox O&O. So I just hope Verizon adds it that morning.

Verizon's not going to add it that morning. The local station affiliated with Buzzr will pitch the new channel to providers. They won't do that until the channel launches. Then, your cable provider will have the option to carry the station. In other words, cable providers, for all intents and purposes, don't know about Buzzr yet. I'd give it at least a week before you see Buzzr on any cable system, anywhere.

Funny that Scott just made his comment about cable systems not carrying Buzzr. A few minutes ago I posted this at Game Show Follies... Getting Buzzr
As Buzzr supposedly gets ready to launch on June 1, the network still hasn't published a schedule or a list of channels where viewers can watch. I'm starting to think that nobody's at home at Buzzr. But the YouTube cousin of the digital subchannel has managed to turn out a bunch of videos, so I assume that Buzzr TV will indeed launch as scheduled. (As reported already, a weekday schedule has leaked with Match Game running a GSN-Harvey- Feud-like eight times a day.) The question is whether much of anybody will be able to watch Buzzr. A few posts ago I gave Wikipedia's 37% household coverage estimate for the subchannel. Now TV News Check says that even this underwhelming number may be too high. They're reporting 23%.It looks like my household won't be among the lucky few. I haven't seen any indication that my cable provider will pick up Buzzr. And there's no way I'm going to bother with setting up an antenna on my TV for one subchannel. I don't even know how to do it. The bottom line is that if Buzzr can't get onto cable/satellite systems, it won't even reach most of the people in the areas where it has a deal with the Fox O&O's. The overwhelming majority of people in the U.S. - me, for instance - don't watch TV over the air any more.

And it's more of an educated prediction. If a system carries it earlier, then it'd be even better.

It can take time for cable systems to get these channels if they decide to add them at all. Back when I still had cable, Antenna TV had made its Atlanta debut over the air, but it still took several months for it to appear on the cable box with Charter.

Well I really hope this doesn't happen here. Without it,all of 13 people locally may watch it OTA.
