In 2001 NBC brought back Twenty One this time hosted by Maury Povich and I remember it very well because Mom and I were gonna make Dad audition for it but we never got around to it and what made this remake of Twenty-One unique was that the winners got to take their winnings home in tote bags and also Twenty-One had it's first million dollar winner in history. Twenty-One also ran in reruns for a short time on PAX as well and it's really a shame that the 2001 version of Twenty-One was cancelled too soon because Maury Povich was a really cool host for Twenty-One and it's a shame that it wasn't picked for another season by NBC, Who remembers the 2001 remake of Twenty-One?, Kelsey

Eh...it was okay. Nothing really notable, in my opinion.
(Also, this version was in 2000. And only 2000.)

Monty Hall was gonna be first choice to host the 2000 version of Twenty-One? What a surprise because I knew Monty Hall would've made a comeback to game shows with Twenty-One. But I was surprised that Maury Povich became the star of Twenty-One because his cool personality is wonderful and it shocks me that Maury Povich hasn't hosted another game show since Twenty-One's cancellation in 2000. But the Twenty-One revival was really neat and should've been given another chance at another season Kelsey, P.S. Did Twenty-One also have two models named Melissa and Mercedes? Because if I remember correctly the models would appear to bring the Second Chance helpers
