Starting September 15th Neil Patrick Harris will make his game show hosting debut on NBC starring in Best Time Ever and based on the preview I saw yesterday I think Best Time Ever will look very awesome and we shall see how talented Neil Patrick Harris will be as a game show host and another fact about Best Time Ever is that it's an American remake of the UK game show Saturday Night Takeaway,

A little news for you, Kelsey. You might not have known this but an American version of The Cube was supposed to be filmed with NPH as host.

I imagine he would actually be a great host. I know, I know. He's a gay guy. But he doesn't shove it in your face or be overly flamboyant, which is why I respect him.

I know many people are saying it seems like Saturday Night Takeaway, but for some reason, it seems to remind me of another international show with game show elements and other variety parts on it as well.

I saw Best Time Ever for the very first time today and what I thought of it is I think NBC has really outdone itself by having a neat concept by combining a variety show and a game show together and the idea of having celebrities act as guest announcers is truly unique to Best Time Ever.  I think where NBC got inspiration for Best Time Ever was from New Year's Eve shows and I think that's why NBC decided to have fun creating this show.  As for Neil Patrick Harris being the host of Best Time Ever I think this will be the first of lots of game shows of a career for Neil Patrick Harris,
