Now that Merv Griffin is no longer with us on this earth I always wondered what happened to Merv Griffin Productions and did another company buy it? Because I knew Merv Griffin Productions was a huge production company of game shows and that Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy were created by Merv Griffin himself and were the pride and joy of Merv Griffin Productions but then the last shows I saw that were created and produced by Merv Griffin were the teen game show Peer Pressure and the kids game show Click but then after I read that Merv Griffin's Crosswords was the final show to be created by Merv Griffin and produced by Merv Griffin Productions I thought Merv Griffin Productions went broke after Merv Griffin's death, Is Merv Griffin Productions still in business or did Sony Pictures or another company buy it?, Kelsey

Sony Pictures bought out MGP in... I wanna say 1994. It was folded into Columbia TriStar Television, which later became Columbia TriStar Domestic Television and later Sony Pictures Television, although the MGP name more recently appeared in episodes of Million Dollar Mind Game.
