I'm a fan of Disney's Inside Out and I saw something that will really make you smile when you see Disney's Inside Out. If you take a look at the character Bing Bong you'll notice that Bing Bong is dressed in a suit exactly like Monty Hall wears and not only that Bing Bong has the exact same personality as Monty Hall. And it makes me think that Disney got inspiration to model Bing Bong after Monty Hall. When I saw Bing Bong it just made me smile with delight when I saw he was dressed like Monty Hall and had his personality, Kelsey

I think you might want to pay attention to this. From the closing credits of any movie (and possibly some television shows; I'm not exactly sure how many, though):
In Layman's terms - no. There is no chance that someone would make a character "model" an actual person.

The character may be based on a design that resembles someone like Monty Hall, but I doubt they would do anything that would result in a lawsuit.

... but I doubt they would do anything that would result in a lawsuit. There was nothing in her post that would suggest that Monty would sue Disney. (It shouldn't be the other way around, either. Just a little rule for those of you who are even thinking of suggesting it.)

Except we live in 2015 and people sue over stupid things like they drive 400 miles to get a marriage license from the ONE person whose religious beliefs keep her from doing it.

To prove people sue over stupid things. That's all. That doesn't even make sense, considering that we weren't even talking about suing jackshit until you brought it up. You want to turn this into a big production? Go ahead - outside of this thread.

You want to turn this into a big production? Go ahead - outside of this thread. I'm not making a big production. At all. I stated a recent case where someone sued over something moronic. I've been hearing stories of stupid people suing over idiotic things since the early 1990s, but didn't want to bring up a 25-year old case so I picked a recent one. I could have easily picked where Paris Hilton sued Hallmark for using her caricature to describe soup saying "That's hot". If Monty Hall wanted to, he could sue every cheap game show caricature from Guy Smiley to this character. That's not the point. The point is that Monty Hall became such a near perfect caricature of a game show host that anyone who might even possess any chops would have to borrow at least a few mannerisms from Uncle Monty.

I don't honestly know how much clearer I can make it.

I don't honestly know how much clearer I can make it. I don't know how I can say " ladykelsey NEVER MENTIONED LAWSUIT" any louder.

I don't honestly know how much clearer I can make it. I don't know how I can say " ladykelsey NEVER MENTIONED LAWSUIT" any louder. It doesn't matter who does or doesn't say the word "lawsuit". We live in a society that is more than happy to sue over stupid things. That's why I said that I doubt they would do anything that would culminate in a lawsuit.

That's why I said that I doubt they would do anything that would culminate in a lawsuit. Unless there was a complete splitting image between the character and Monty, a lawsuit is impossible. ladykelsey has it right. I'm done fighting about this kind of thing. DROP IT.
