I meant I want the original version to be on that Splat schedule. I actually don't want a remake of these shows because in this day in age, they'd probably suck and be unbearable to watch.

I meant I want the original version to be on that Splat schedule. That's going to be what happens. I'm only saying that if Nick's powers ever thought of remaking those shows, I might not watch. Some shows are fine the way they are. Classic children's game shows are a fine example.

Is this new The Splat channel that Nickelodeon is gonna have going to replace TeenNick? Because I never knew that Nickelodeon was gonna have their very own game show channel showing classic Nickelodeon favorite game shows since Nick GAS {Nick Games And Sports Channel} got it's demise and became Teen Nick, Kelsey

Is this new The Splat channel that Nickelodeon is gonna have going to replace TeenNick? No. It's kind of like Nick-at-Nite (for those of you who are old enough to know what that is) for TeenNick.

Oh so The Splat is gonna be like Nick At Nite but with game shows? What a fine idea TeenNick and Nickelodeon has decided to make. By the way when I was looking though my channel guide for tomorrow at TeenNick and it appears that the first game show to debut on The Splat hour will be the comedy game show You Can't Do That On Television, Thank you very much for the info Mandy, Kelsey

Oh so The Splat is gonna be like Nick At Nite but with game shows? With almost 100% of the cartoons Nick showed when they were actually decent. EDIT: What you're saying isn't making any sense. YCDTOTV wasn't a game show.

I was channel surfing through my program guide for TeenNick's The Splat lineup for tomorrow and it appears that the first Nickelodeon game show reruns to be part of The Splat lineup will be Double Dare and Legends Of The Hidden Temple. So be sure to tune in to TeenNick tomorrow for some classic game show fun, Kelsey

I saw TeenNick's The Splat hour for the very first time last Friday and let me tell you I think it was a smart idea for TeenNick to do because it's nice to be able to see reruns of Nickelodeon game shows and other favorite shows as well. On the game show side of The Splat I thought it was cool to see Double Dare and Legends Of The Hidden Temple has always been awesome and when I first saw Legends Of The Hidden Temple when I was a kid I thought how smart Nickelodeon had an idea to make a game show based on fictional hidden legends. As for The Splat's game show hour here's some more Nickelodeon game shows that would really feel at home on The Splat in the future, 1. Get The Picture, 2. Finders Keepers {Wesley Eure and Larry Toffler versions} 3. Make The Grade, 4. Super Sloppy Double Dare 5. Global Guts 6. Nick Arcade, Kelsey

In 1993 Legends Of The Hidden Temple aired on Nickelodeon and featured teams known as The Purple Parrots The Orange Iguanas The Silver Snakes and the blue team {I cannot remember the animal was the symbol of the blue team} as they tested their knowledge and skills in several games while trying to uncover the fictional legend of the day of the hidden temple. Legends Of The Hidden Temple also was known for the awesome yet comedic announcer/mascot Olmec who was voiced by Shop Til You Drop's announcer Dee Bradley Baker. I used to watch this show with my dad and Dad's favorite part of Legends Of The Hidden Temple was the Steps Of Knowledge round because the questions were awesome. And the final round of Legends Of The Hidden Temple was one of the awesome and neat parts of the game that whenever a contestant finished the round they won a prize. Did you like Legends Of The Hidden Temple?, Kelsey

The bonus round is one of the hardest bonus rounds in the history of game shows

The bonus round is one of the hardest bonus rounds in the history of game shows On the original GSN boards, I said that very rarely was it won. This poster replied to me with the following: "Actually 32 teams won the bonus round out of 120 episodes. That's slightly more than 25%...certainly a much higher win rate than the bonus rounds of Get the Picture, Nick Arcade, Make the Grade, and Think Fast. Come to think of it, I don't even think the Obstacle Course over all Double Dare versions not hosted by Alex Trebek could boast a win rate that high."

Actually 32 teams won the bonus round out of 120 episodes. That's slightly more than 25%... Slightly is an understatement. It's more like "just barely". 26.6% of the teams actually won. I should probably sit around and do a full tally of what happened to each team in their temple run, but I'd need a full day to sift through pages of links.

This should help: web.archive.org/web/20090829013718/http://geocities.com/nicklegends/episodelist.htmlAnyway, this is my favorite Nick game show. I've always loved it and I always had a thing for the Purple Parrots, my favorite team. Of the 32 wins, they only won 3 times. They were the underdog team and I always pulled for them. That and purple I think is an awesome color. Parrots are cool too.

Thanks for the link, S_SweepFan3. Out of the 120 episodes, 48 (40%) of them saw the item in the hands when time expired. It would have been bumped up another 1% if the trident mistake in S3 didn't happen. On the other hand, 13% of the episodes had a guard ending the run. EDIT: Shoud've done this before, but here's the list of temple run results: In the first row of results, bold means that the team won with the artifact in question.
