The Game Show Network had a tribute to Jim Perry in a break for their broadcast of the original version of "Card Sharks" this morning. I saw the ten-second tribute on YouTube. Showed nothing but clips from Card Sharks, nothing from $ale of the Century. I'm guessing there's nothing from $ale of the Century because GSN no longer has the rights to air such show, whereas they do with Card Sharks. GSN probably didn't do a tribute marathon because they only have the rights to air Card Sharks and GSN had picked up fresh 1979 episodes fairly recently. Or it could be because Jim Perry may not have been as widely known like Jim Lange, Gene Rayburn, and Peter Tomarken were. I did read somewhere that Perry might have been an underrated host. Still, it is nice that GSN paid tribute to a game show legend. EDIT: Here is the video tribute, in case some of you haven't seen it. Pretty cool they used an indirect Discovery Channel reference.
