Season 8 of the current LMAD is actually 2016-17. Just like the case with Season 45 of TPIR which is also launching on GameTV on January 4. It seems as if many of the fresh shows in the January schedule change is likely Fremantle-related, and if this is true, fresh episodes of "Super Password" may be coming too. Unfortunately, it's bad timing on my part since it airs at 2:30 p.m. where I live (Newfoundland time) and I am still at work for my last half hour when the show is on. This is one good reason why it would be nice for there to be a live stream for GameTV so I could record the episodes. Interesting to note, it appears that Dawson's Feud may be leaving in January after nearly a year, yet Ray Combs' version will continue airing and that will be two years come March. With "Love Connection" leaving, the retro game shows block gets reduced by 30 minutes, but I strongly doubt the ratings are doing badly with many of the classics. Season 45 of TPIR had some noteworthy moments, including a lot of money given away during Big Money Week, if I remember correctly.

Tomorrow, GameTV airs a Christmas Day marathon of "Family Feud", which, according to the schedule will be five hours of alternating between Combs' and Dawson's episodes, follpwed by three episodes of "Celebrity Family Feud" with Harvey. Oddly enough, the on-air promo shows footage from just the Combs and Harvey versions, and nothing from Dawson's.
As per promo, it doesn't appear to be Christmas episodes, and one of the families on the Combs episodes is the Jordan family. When in 1988 did the Jordan family appear?
Also, according to the GameTV schedule, it appears that a marathon of Rayburn's "Match Game" is scheduled for Decrmber 31.

I have Jordan listed for September 13, 1988.

None of the Dawson Feud episodes in the marathon are from Xmas weeks as their run of the 1980/81 episodes went from Trejo vs Cantrell to Murphy vs Jackson. The run of Combs Feud from 1988/89 did get to the Xmas week with the Hillier family run. On both the Match Game and Family Feud marathons for tomorrow and New Year’s Eve, the rest of the Retro block is bumped (no Tic Tac Dough or Pyramid)
For Price coming on January 4, this isn’t the first time GameTV reran it but could anyone on here remember which season with Drew they reran before? It was after their 2007 rebranding from CGTV to GameTV before Anthem was the owner that is all I do know

Actually, GameTV did air episodes from a few weeks before the Trejo family's run. I did see an episode with the Henson family air on GameTV recently, and that was definitely before the Trejo's run, especially since I know that one of the Henson relatives was named Darla. Very interesting that GameTV chose to skip over the Christmas 1980 episodes, but not do the same with Combs' Feud.
I wouldn't be shocked if the Combs episodes in the marathon is likely a continuation from where the reruns left off from yesterday. It would make sense, since it was confirmed that GameTV's run of Combs' Feud reverted back to the beginning of the series not very long ago, so the Jordan family's appearance may be on tap for the marathon.
Also, did GameTV ever air any Combs' episodes from 1989? I know Buzzr's run of Combs' Feud only got as far as the first day of spring 1989, or close to it.

Watching the marathon right now as I post this. The second episode in the marathon is airing right now, and while the online schedule showed a Dawson episode for this time, it turns out it is another Combs episode. I am thinking that, considering that Dawson's Feud will be gone on January 4, Combs' Feud tends to get better ratings these days than Dawson's Feud does. It makes no sense to include Dawson's episodes in today's marathon since it is so close to going off the GameTV airwaves.
I suspect there will be two weeks of Combs' Feud in this marathon.
As for the question about Drew Carey's TPIR, which I had intended to answer earlier but for some reason it slipped my mind, GameTV did air TPIR before, and according to a post I read on G-R a few years ago, it was Season 42 that GameTV aired, and it was aired for one year.

The closest GameTV got to for Combs Feud was the Y&R vs B&B week (from the CBS version) from late February 1989

For Dawson Feud, the first was Tyus vs Ford and the latest was Duke vs Saperstein from the ABC version

Keep in mind that there was a Family Day marathon last February 17. The first GameTV airings of Dawson's Feud aired in that marathon, and it was from August 1980.
Speaking of Dawson's Feud, it turns out that GameTV dropped Dawson's Feud from the network's lineup of classics pretty recently, despite being listed on the schedule through Thursday. It got replaced by an extra airing of the Combs version.

With "Super Password" having returned to GameTV today, I'd like to ask, what was the original airdate of today's GameTV airing? Is it fresh episodes or is it the same batch of 65 episodes from 1984 that GameTV aired two years ago?
I never got to see the show due to being at work, and I don't get off until Combs' Feud comes on. I'd be lucky to be home in time for the latter portion of Combs' Feud or even "Tic Tac Dough".

GameTV started with episode #200 of Super Password (Richard Moll and Markie Post, from July 2, 1985), which oddly enough, is exactly one week ahead of where Buzzr is in the rotation.

And from what I saw of Let's Make a Deal, the last segment was completely missing. Wayne tossed to break saying the Big Deal of the Day was coming up and then Family Feud (Harvey) started.

I am not sure if extra commercials may have led to the omission of the Big Deal segment. I certainly hope TPIR wasn't affected with regards to the Showcase. As for "Super Password", it turns out that tomorrow's airing is expected to be the fourth of July episode from 1985. If I recall, Buzzr tends to skip episodes in the normal rotation that previously aired as part of marathons. I am unsure if Buzzr will skip the fourth of July episode in this current cycle, but I have confidence that GameTV will air it no problem. I find it surprising that GameTV jumped all the way from December 1984 to July 1985. I mean, why couldn't they air the early 1985 episodes with the Tournament of Champions? And from what I saw of Let's Make a Deal, the last segment was completely missing. Wayne tossed to break saying the Big Deal of the Day was coming up and then Family Feud (Harvey) started. I thought, in this day and age, GameTV shows a 30-second promo, followed by the GameTV station identification bumper, and then the next show?
