I am not sure if extra commercials may have led to the omission of the Big Deal segment. I certainly hope TPIR wasn't affected with regards to the Showcase. As for "Super Password", it turns out that tomorrow's airing is expected to be the fourth of July episode from 1985. If I recall, Buzzr tends to skip episodes in the normal rotation that previously aired as part of marathons. I am unsure if Buzzr will skip the fourth of July episode in this current cycle, but I have confidence that GameTV will air it no problem. I find it surprising that GameTV jumped all the way from December 1984 to July 1985. I mean, why couldn't they air the early 1985 episodes with the Tournament of Champions? And from what I saw of Let's Make a Deal, the last segment was completely missing. Wayne tossed to break saying the Big Deal of the Day was coming up and then Family Feud (Harvey) started. I thought, in this day and age, GameTV shows a 30-second promo, followed by the GameTV station identification bumper, and then the next show? That's what I meant. They went to break, aired a promo for an upcoming movie, then the ID, then Feud.

GSN in Summer 2005 skipped from late 1984 to Summer 1985 with SP, making their daily SP airings for the next year and change almost exactly 20 years old at the time.

The 7/4/85 episode of Super Password did indeed air today.

Super Password #203 was skipped though. Buzzr skips it also, probably because "Nazi" is a password in the bonus round.

GameTV likely skips episodes that Buzzr also skips. This implies that GameTV acquires episodes that Fremantle converted and aired on Buzzr.

80’s Press Your Luck returns to the schedule Feb 1 replacing Tic Tac Dough 85. The one other change on that date for the classics is that there is an additional episode of Split Second at 11 eastern. Web schedule at igametv.com/gametv-schedule/ hasn’t been updated past next week at the time of this reply

That is amazing news that the 1980s "Press Your Luck" is coming back next Monday. I really enjoy that version greatly, as that's what I grew up with. At least I will have something to watch upon my arrival home from work each day. Like was the case with "Super Password", I bet they will be fresh episodes, possibly continuing from the latest episode that was part of the last batch, which was September 18, 1984 (John Harlan's second episode). If we get the Halloween 1984 episode, it's pretty much a guarantee that they will show Peter doing his silly dance wearing a Frankenstein mask during the closing credits, as GameTV does not rely on splitscreen promos. I bet this latest acquisition will cover much or all of the remainder of 1984, to say the least. Not surprising that "Tic Tac Dough" is departing, but to be quite honest, I enjoyed the show just for the initial cycle. Not enjoyable enough for me to watch in subsequent cycles. I am thinking "Tic Tac Dough" was just a placeholder until fresh "Press Your Luck" came. With the latest rounds of refreshing classics since January 4, I wonder why there have been no reports of fresh "Match Game" as yet? And since there is no schedule released for February 1, where did you find out about the return of "Press Your Luck"? If I recall, GameTV never posted anything on their Facebook nor Twitter pages since January 7 - possibly due to lockdown and stay-at-home orders in Ontario, likely. Or, could it be possible that the schedule published on that so-called source was perhaps using a grid from around this time last year, since "Press Your Luck" aired in that exact same time slot before it got replaced by "Tic Tac Dough" last March?
UPDATE: As of around 2:15 p.m. ET on 1/25, GameTV has been on Facebook today, as they just updated their cover photo. So this must mean there is activity going on at GameTV.

I found out through my program guide which is updated up to a week in advance. The classics block beginning on Feb 1 is Super Password, Family Feud (Combs), Press Your Luck, two episodes of Match Game and the 100,000 Pyramid in that order. Split Second and Talkabout are separate from those shows, airing in the early morning instead of afternoon

Considering GameTV aired up to and including September 18, 1984 in their last acquisition (which was the latest episode Buzzr aired when tbey added fresh episodes in March 2019), I'd like to ask, what is the latest original airdate of PYL Buzzr aired at this point?,
Still no publishing of the February 1 schedule as of this post.

The latest continuous episode seen on Buzzr was episode 355 from Feb 4, 1985. Day 11 of the 2nd Home Player Sweepstakes

I had a feeling they got as far as February 1985 at the earliest.

Just turned on "Press Your Luck" right now, and it turns out that, despite "Super Password" having fresh episodes on GameTV, the network apparently still has the rights to air the nearly first year of the series, covering September 1983 to September 1984.
In fact, they're airing the September 1983 premiere right now as I post this.
At least Michael Larson may likely have another shot at airtime later this year. Possibly closer to Christmas.

Season 2 of The Search for Canada’s Game Shows begins March 29. The episodes are also made available to watch on that show’s website after their TV broadcasts for viewers without GameTV. Canadian version of Supermarket Sweep is discussed, it was rerun on GameTV in its earlier years and before that regionally on Global in Ontario and other Canwest stations

Just noticed, on a small banner during today's "Super Password", that "Tic Tac Dough" comes on afterwards. GameTV apparently lost the rights to air Combs' Feud as of today. The contestant on "Tic Tac Dough" right now as of this post is Jacqueline and she plays against the dragon at the start, then she competes against Larry. This is the first episode on GameTV's lease, aired a year ago this week. EDIT: On the upside, there are fresh episodes of "Press Your Luck" as of today, as Giovanni/Betty/Judy are the contestants, and John Harlan is at the mic. The episode in question is #261, originally aired on September 20, 1984.
I seem to sense a pattern. Based on past years in terms of retro shows, it turns out that fresh content typically occurs in March. Either way, the fresh episodes of "Press Your Luck" will give me something more to watch for at least the next few months. However, I was not at all surprised to see Combs' Feud depart, considering that lease started two years ago.
Also, I discovered on the schedule that "Match Game '75" is airing today. I am thinking they will be fresh episodes too - possibly a continuation from where it left off in Spring 1975.

Entire afternoon classics block preempted for two weeks for a Match Game marathon event, a heads up if you are following the runs of Press Your Luck, Tic Tac Dough and $100,000 Pyramid (which is almost at the end of its series)
