How are people watching this channel? Is there an online stream? If there is an online stream, it's only viewable in Canada, most likely.
However, CW does have some access to GameTV since he lives closer to the Canadian border.

Well, it appears there are a lot of people in this thread talking like they get it too.

Just got home, and tuned in to Super Password just now. It appears that GameTV has acquired just three months of the series, as the premiere is airing again right now. So it looks like Super Password is off my list for recording for a while. It looks like, unless fresh Press Your Luck episodes continue, I may be holding off on purchasing rewritable DVDs for a while. EDIT (on 10/2): Press Your Luck was #065 yesterday. We'll see what happens later today.
THIS JUST IN: Press Your Luck continues on, as episode 067 is airing as of this edit.

CardSharksFan8689 Can you please do me a favor? Can you please check Wipeout on Game TV on your TV set (again, not the online stream, but your TV set), when it begins tomorrow? I want to know if it has smoothness and fluidness, which is how videotape is supposed to look, and not the "film look" that GSN has been doing for several months. Below is a 60fps upload of episode #258 of Press Your Luck that shows how videotape is supposed to look. See it? I also want to know if the late 80's Paramount Television logo has been preserved, or if they replaced it with the current CBS Television Distribution logo.

Lucky for me, I am off work tomorrow (Thanksgiving Day in Canada), and I do plan on recording the first GameTV broadcast of Wipeout tomorrow. I will check out the episode very carefully to find out if it has the "film look" or not. I am thinking that the so-called "film look" is more of a GSN thing, but I will let you know if it has a fluid or film look.

Just finished watching the premiere episode of Wipeout. A few days ago, I am going to answer a few questions asked this past weekend regarding the GameTV broadcasts.
I was asked if the Paramount logo was kept intact, or if it was replaced by the CBS Television Distribution logo. I can confirm that the Paramount logo was kept intact, no CBS logo to report.
As for the question about "film look", I didn't notice it closely, but I did record the episode, so I will check back at it closely when I have spare time. I bet it was more fluid look.

Wsa it the late 80's logo with the Gulf-Western byline? (Paramount adopted it for their 75th anniversary)

and was it the shows computer operator Jim Hackett doing the announcing/the "Hot Spot" prize announced before the category/answer reveal?
Finally, the contestants have nametags (earliest episodes)?

I can confirm the contestants do have name tags. That I do know.
As for the remainder of questions from the previous two posts, I will have to check out my recording later today, as I am currently at work right now.

The contestant had nametags for the first four weeks of the shows' run. The contestants' names started being on the podium four weeks into the run, on the same episode they started having returning champions if the car was not won on the previous show. Airdate for those changes was 10/10/1988

CardSharksFan8689 , you haven't checked back yet to check how the episodes were presented: Smoothness and fluidness (which is how videotape is supposed to look) or "film look".

Just saw the closing segment just now - it looks more fluid. Also, regarding the questions about "A Gulf-Western Company" credit on the Paramount closing logo and Jim Hackett serving as announcer - they're both there.
