How did your friend gain access to those eps? And do we know any more than what we did about the Arkin/Bertinelli eps?

Suggestion: Wouldn't it be helpful to know what episodes only GSN skip, and episodes only Buzzr skip?

That would be helpful. I think that's the next bit of organization i'd like to do next with this guide!

We also have come to see why some of these shows were skipped by GSN and BUZZR over the past few months.

1973 #7 was skipped because of audio problems.    I have a copy of the 1998 GSN airing of this episode and noticed the first 13 minutes of it aired without a problem. The last 7 minutes of the show has a noticeable buzz on the audio. That is very likely why it is skipped now.

1973 #90 was skipped because of Brett's answer to the first question on the show. Brett gave the answer "a fag" which is very likely why this show is skipped by GSN and most likely will be by Buzzr when they get to it.

#227 from the 1980-81 season was probably skipped because of a question about the Ku Klux Klan.

I know I've said this many, many times, but I wonder how we're gonna get episodes like 31-33, 311-313, and 324-325? It seems like the only option we have is to find audio recording people made originally. Before the advent of VCRs, that was how people would record their favorite shows.

But even with only the audio, that would still be better than nothing.

You folks are welcome to check in with Fremantle Archive at bufvc.ac.uk/archives/index.php/collection/963 to see what they can do. There is a cost associated, but this could be a helpful way of seeing some episodes that typically get skipped!

Other than the Adam Arkin week and the two episodes that precede it, at least we're not missing any info about the Head-to-Head Matches from the unaired 1977 episodes -- which is most important to me, anyway. Based on totals from surrounding episodes, it can be gleaned that there were no HTHs on 910 or 1035, the contestant struck out in the first Audience Match on 935, and it's mentioned in 969 that the champion won the $5,000 with Richard Dawson in 968.

It didn't occur to me until now, but it looks like episodes 443 and 1300 from 1975 and 1978 respectively, both of which Buzzr used to air, are now part of the skips list.
