What happened on 652 that prompted Buzzr to skip it? Were they offended by something in it?

I think people read too much into reasons why an episode is skipped. It could have just been a technical glitch with transcoding that batch for that network at that time.

I've been trying to say this for literally years, going back to the GSN boards, and felt like I was the only one. I can guarantee you that GSN and Buzzr put way less thought into this stuff than all of you do. |

I agree it's not the end of the world or it's more than likely really not that deep depending on what is skipped over, but I will say the one good thing about a thread like this is that it's nice to make a note of what is skipped over so when you come to it on the network, you know what's up already.
I'm usually watching the show 5 episodes at a time now when I'm sitting down and making a DVD and a few times as of late I've wondered if I've deleted the wrong episodes from my TiVo accidentally instead of the airings I didn't need, because I've done that a couple times before and the 12+ airings of this show a day end up taking valuable space over time. It's just nice to know it's not me screwing things up on my end.

MG 80-81 #227 - The Tuesday episode from the Richard Kiel week - this is most likely skipped due to a question that was asked. Question was "Bernie was such a super salesman he sold the head of the KKK a trip to ____ ." The contestant responded Africa and matched 5 stars. Yet, ironically, a question from Match Game 77 referencing the KKK did air during the Saturday Night Classics block last night. |

On February 7, Buzzr will show episode 165 of MG 74, which GSN showed at first, but then skipped later for some reason, only to mysteriously put it back in the rotation.

A friend of mine was able to get access to this week from Fremantle Archive. Gene hosted the entire week. Anitra was excellent on the panel so it's really weird why she didn't clear her appearances.

I suspect it was due to her dismissal from The Price Is Right, and the termination contract might have resulted in her episodes being labeled "NOT FOR RERUNS". Remember, her dismissal from that show was the same year as her Match Game week. |
