While watching Full House on DVD a few minutes ago I learned an interesting game show host fact today. Way before he told us the famous catchphrase "Do You Want The Money Or The Mob" on 1 Vs 100 Bob Saget was a featured contestant on The Dating Game in 1979 when he was Bachelor #3 and he got chosen and won and that's a wonderful way to begin a TV career indeed, Kelsey

I recently saw a video of an old commercial with Jim Perry circa 1974 on YouTube. I didn't know until then that he dyed his hair during the '70's and '80's. His hair was totally greying on the commercial. I'd link to the video but it's not up anymore. It's back up.

Charles Nelson Reilly appears in the 1989 Don Bluth movie All Dogs Go To Heaven as the voice of the race announcer in the introduction scene of the movie. And Charles Nelson Reilly also sang in All Dogs Go To Heaven as well. What a wonderful treat to see, Kelsey

Wink Martindale names each of his animals after game shows he hosted and among the animals he had were a dog named Gambit and adorable puppies named Miss Bumper and Stumper that were named in honor of his game show Bumper Stumpers. Pretty awesome way to name your pets indeed, Do you do the same thing with your stuffed animals too?, Kelsey

A little Canadian game show factoid: The New Liar's Club and a similar show called The Next Line used the same set at the studios of CKVU in Vancouver but with some differences between the two shows. Also, an extra digit was added to the contestants' podium for the latter series

When I woke up from my Saturday rest today I saw a informercial for a music collection called Pop Goes The 70's that features two very famous stars of the game show world. Donny Osmond of Pyramid and his cohost in the infomercial is the very wonderful Patricia Kara who was briefcase model #9 in Deal Or No Deal and the star of the syndicated Deal Or No Deal as well. When I first saw the infomercial I couldn't believe my eyes that Patricia Kara is now doing informercials for Star Vista Entertainment and that Donny Osmond is still cool and awesome. If you haven't seen this new informercial for Pop Goes The 70's I advise all Pyramid and Deal Or No Deal fans to see it to see Donny Osmond and Patricia Kara be really wonderful, Kelsey

In 1992 Tiger Electronics launched a doll line featuring the stars of Full House and the line featured a very important game show host being made into a doll. Yes there was a doll of Bob Saget in the Full House doll series. When I first saw the commercial for the Full House Dolls on Youtube I couldn't believe my eyes that there really was a Bob Saget doll and the doll really looked like him too. I wonder if many 1 Vs 100 fans had these dolls when Full House was huge and all the rage, Does anyone remember the Bob Saget doll when it came out?, Kelsey

Here's a fact I bet Pyramid fans never discovered before about Donny Osmond and I bet many game show fans had these collectibles growing up, In the 1970's Mattel released a doll of Donny Osmond along with Marie Osmond and their cousin Jimmy Osmond when the Donny And Marie variety show was a hit in the 70's and for added fun there was even a Donny Osmond TV show playset as well that came with a record of one of their songs, Did you ever have a Donny Osmond doll?, Kelsey

Mark Pontius, part of Foster the People (band), was a former contestant on Extreme Dodgeball. Thought this one was fact, and this confirms it.

Leyla Milani was on the second episode of Wrestlicious TakeDown as a "guest host". Funny thing about this is that the show was supposed to be in pre-production for season two, but never got off the ground. There are rumors that the company is planning a reality show. No word on if it's going to be green-lit.

Mark Pontius, part of Foster the People (band), was a former contestant on Extreme Dodgeball. Thought this one was fact, and this confirms it. Yes, in season 1 he was on the "Silent but Deadly Mimes", and then in season 2, he joined the "Reef Sharks".
