I've been finding some good game show books used on places like amazon and I was wondering if anyone else has any, old or new. And if anyone can recommend some good ones, that'd be great also. Books about game show hosts or personalities can be talked about here as well.
Right now I have the following:
The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows: Third Edition (1999)
Come on Down: The TV Game Show Book (1988) Come on Down: Behind the Big Doors at The Price is Right (2007)
The Jeopardy! Book (1990)
I also have the host biographies:
Tom Bergeron: I'm Dancing as Fast as I Can (2009) (also listening to it on audible, got that version since was able to get it free)
Betty White: If You Ask Me (2011)

I have every book written by Chuck Barris (including an early version of his book Della), as well as the autobiographies of Bob Eubanks, Kitty Carlisle, Arlene Francis, and that same Betty White If You Ask Me book.
I've been wanting to get that 1988 Come On Down book as well as Gil Fates' What's My Line? book for ages.

Probably the oldest book out there that's all about game shows is the one by Maxene Fabe from 1979.
I have the 3rd edition of EOTVGS, the Ultimate TV Game Shows book from 2005, and Eubanks' autobio.

Hopefully someone will have it on ebay, amazon, or a B&M used bookstore without offering an insane price for it.

I have a copy of "Backstage With the Original Hollywood Square", the book Peter Marshall wrote about his time on HS. It's a really good read, and it came with a CD with some of the best zingers from the show.

Not a bad book with some definitely weird anecdotes.

I have a few of these. Most of them are quiz books (I had some for Deal or No Deal, Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, Pointless, Only Connect, and maybe some others I can't remember ). They were fun, but all they really did was reinforce my belief that I'm not good enough to go on one of these shows... XD

I have a couple of the old Blockbusters quiz books from the early days of the UK, which I got from the amazon UK website.
I'll probably get one for The Chase at some point as I see them pop up on eBay from time to time.

It's a little hard to recall but I believe these are the books related to game shows I have:
The Encyclopedia of TV Game Shows: Third Edition (1999) (the best one) Come on Down: The TV Game Show Book (1988) How To Become a TV Game Show Contestant foreword by David Wagner who was on Joker's Wild and Press Your Luck in 1983. Priceless Memories: Bob Barker

carpetcrawler I found bunches of game show books on archive.org. Some of them may not even be on eBay, for all I know. www.gameshowforum.org/index.php/topic,31814.msg377452.html#new Perhaps the coolest one is You Can Be a Game Show Contestant from 1982. They even give out the taping schedules for all the programs; Family Feud was four tape dates every other week; two for ABC Daytime (fourteen families) and two for Syndication (twenty families).

Wheel of Fortune by Sams and Shook is a paperback book that came out circa Spring or Summer 1987(they reference a February 1987 train trip on the East Coast Pat and Vanna took), and the nighttime show going to all cash hadn't quite happened yet.
