Odd that the new commercial they're airing advertising Family Feud from 9-11am shows Ray Combs clips too even though we're only getting Feud '82 everyday The same Family Feud Jump promo was shown 5 years ago, along with the graphics back then. This is a promo that was recorded by me from almost 5 years ago: youtu.be/tB0bJgnGiBM

Interesting development on PYL. The following episode which introduces the final set of hoarser whammies circulates from USA Network but after that with episode 699 begins a string of some unresolved gaps in footage of the show for June-September 1986 with all but two episodes from the final month found. Several episodes and partial clips of episodes from June and July 1986 can be seen on YouTube in varying audio and video quality due to circuit related generation loss

697 is on YT now, what time did they air it? 11:30pm. Saved the best for last. One day Buzzr will get to these later episodes. Clearly GSN just wanted to go in a different direction and stopped at 696.

lmcjrAnd another thing: It was 1985 that was shown more times than anything else. Mainly those February-August 1985 episodes that were Syndicated by Republic Pictures. And actually, USA did show February 1986.

You know, come to think of it, I wouldn't be surprised if GSN never converted that episode of PYL, and Buzzr had to do so from scratch (meaning straight from the original 1'' Type C Master), and undergo the process of baking so that it would be in playable condition. Though GSN doesn't use digibeta anymore, the episodes that were shown in 2014-2015 still seemed to be in multiples of three. Hence why six were skipped.
That glitch at the end may have been a pausing mistake when they were transferring it to digital. It happens from time to time.

There are other networks that still use Digibeta, so don't say it's completely obsolete. New computers now come with a 1 Terabyte or 2 Terabyte Data Folder. I believe GameTV still uses Digibeta as of now for their retro game show block as well as when they rerun Talk About and Split Second, the latter was only 2 episodes shy of GameTV airing the entire run.

I wasn't around for most of yesterday. Did anyone compile a list of the fresh episodes Buzzr aired on June 4?

For GameTV’s classics, they originate on tape but are programmed through a digital library. Canadian TV had the analog to digital transition back in August 2011. Notice that the modern Fremantle and Sony logos are seen at the end of those retro block shows

Yeah, I doubt any TV station in 2023 still uses tape.

MGHSH episode 2 did air last night, but the breaks were misaligned, as with their last airing. The first few episodes that aired during a preview marathon are about 90 seconds longer, with more plugs, than the episodes they converted later. When the games switch and the plugs come in, the commercial breaks go haywire.

The 8:00PM airing is the first taped 1970-71 episode of To Tell The Truth (#401). The "Done" was the unannounced final O'Hurley TTTT episode from 2002. Panel: Meshach Taylor, Jackee Harry, Ant, and Brad Sherwood.

On the week of June 19, Password Plus, Talk About, Press Your Luck , Supermarket Sweep and Super Password continues fresh, but for the last one, the July 2, 1986 episode is officially skipped, I hope Ryan Gagne or Chuck Donegan can upload that episode for us. The ABC Daytime Family Feud is fresh again, yes, the Rod Roddy fill-in episodes are coming. They haven't actually skipped the Saints vs. Sinners week of episodes yet but later on, it's found out that the entire Saints vs. Sinners week is getting skipped. GRRR.
