Not getting my hopes up but if Buzzr gets fresh episodes of Supermarket Sweep which season is most likely to air? They'll finish the remaining episode of Season 6. Why would they not?

Kudos to Buzzr for this! Wow we're actually moving into 1983 Feud. That's awesome news

I made an account here to see if I could get some insight into when "new" episodes of To Tell The Truth would air, and was thrilled to see full details laid out by dare2be and simultaneously a little crushed to discover this week will wrap up the sprinkling of unearthed material to be followed by a strange week of 1990 (Trebek?) episodes, which are to me much less interesting (no demonstrations, no video footage, no fun at all) and then back to a mix of old re-runs. Do they "max out" at some point and just stop? There should also be quite a few 1974 episodes to go, technically. I thought the shift to airing it at 8pm was a good omen that interest was high for this show. Is there any precedence for determining which series gets a more "expanded" run than another? And how do we get more Bill Cullen in the schedule?

From Buzzr’s inception, episodes have been added in batches and for variety a show may get fresh episodes for a few weeks to a month then on to another show. I don’t believe it maxes out on additions to shows as it has made great progress on most of their library, in particular Match Game 7x
In the case of the 70’s To Tell the Truth, Buzzr has aired a little over a year’s worth of the show. It began with the tail end of the 1972-73 season with episode 148-1. It has had some more focus than say the 1974 version of Now You See It or even Trivia Trap

Good news regarding Classic Concentration. I was not expecting these for another week. Episode 889 is the second episode of the second (and last) TOC, so the remainder of the TOC should come to BUZZR the week of 10/16/2023. Thankfully, 882 (Original air date October 31, 1990) is already on YT. youtu.be/osYKZO_HCJw

The 1990 Tournament of Champions is available from September 16-20, 1991. I was right about the tournament being taped in between November 7 and 8, 1990.

I've seen those episodes on YT, but I never paid attention as to whether they had been recorded from the original broadcast in 1990, or from a repeat. It just occurred to me that while it might be theoretically possible to track which episodes NBC repeated on specific dates when NBC began reruns after August 30, 1991, it would be extremely difficult, even knowing that the TOC2 episodes were among the first to be repeated.

We're getting a Halloween Chills and Thrills marathon this year. We'll probably see the skipped Classic Concentration episode then.

We're getting a Halloween Chills and Thrills marathon this year. We'll probably see the skipped Classic Concentration episode then. A likely scenario, and there are seven other Halloween-themed Classic Concentration episodes that BUZZR has skipped that would also fit in with this year's marathon.
- Episodes 369-375; a six episode "Halloween Week" that ran from Monday October 24, 1988 to Monday October 31, 1988. Episodes 371-2 are on YT, but the other four episodes are missing (except for the bonus round from 375). I'd love to see 369 and/or 373-5 in this years' marathon.
- Episode 628 from Tuesday, October 31, 1989. All that is known about this episode is that Alex Trebek dressed as Batman (which is perhaps why it was skipped).
