Here's something interesting. Has anyone else notice with Press Your Luck, Buzzr is almost in sync with airing the episodes associated with the week of the shows originally broadcast?

Here's something interesting. Has anyone else notice with Press Your Luck, Buzzr is almost in sync with airing the episodes associated with the week of the shows originally broadcast? It's been done also with Match Game '7#(even with weeks where all episodes of the week were originally unaired), Blockbusters, Child's Play and Match Game/Hollywood Squares Hour and even Now You See It and Double Dare(the isolation booths flavor), what do all these have in common, they didn't have any special disruptive weeks of episodes produced so it allowed them to keep the taping order completely in-sync with the airing order in it's entirety. |

Not exactly as the episodes are currently being rerun two a day on weekends. PYL in its original run like other network game shows aired weekdays (Mon-Fri with the occasional network preemption) |

"The Price is Right" listed is the tribute show hosted by Drew that aired on CBS back in August. Buzzr will be airing this episode several times throughout the week. |

The episode codes we see for Family Feud indicate those are from the February 1993 week of episodes and NOT February 1994. And another thing, Super Password does go to the All-Star Week in a couple of weeks from now and if we can get to the week of December 18, we may very well get to the October 17, 1986 episode then and the debut of the whispering passwords(minus the end game), the players riding to the set and the split-screen in the end game.

Match Game 75 608 doesn't feature Bob Barker, so that's a mistake in the schedule.
It looks like only the Family Feud episodes of the TTTT episode are "fresh" for this marathon (along with the recent TPIR tribute.)
With this schedule the overnight black and white TTTT and IGAS begin their third cycle of the same episodes because... Buzzr. |

For Match Game, Bob was on the second week in 1973 but there is some kind of tape trouble with the Tuesday episode of the week. When GSN reran the episode in the spring of 1998 the second half had buzzy sound. I think all of those late 70’s PM appearances have rerun before

If a tape is damaged, it could be because of either how it was stored, it was reused frequently, or it was part of a defective batch.

It feels like a kick in the junk when the continuity keeps jumping or resetting. GSN didn't even "own" the stuff but they managed to roll everything out rather continuously back in the day, just wish I had recorded it to real media not a cable company's DVR box that would eventually be lost, in time. Do they need extra 'proofwatching' staff? I'll fill out the forms and do it for free...!

I'm not even asking for fresh episodes. Just play the episodes they've already converted and haven't played in years, but... it's something to do with the vagueness of licensing for shows they own.
