Buzzr was putting so much effort into giving us fresh Family Feud '83 and now it's completely off the weekday schedule. Would love to get to December 1983 while we're all still alive. I didn't have Buzzr in 2018 but I believe they were airing 1984 episodes along with different years of Combs episodes so why not just air those for now? So much stuff we haven't seen like Family Feud Challenge and Dawson Feud 94-95
Hopefully some better schedule changes are coming at some point

Amen. I was looking forward to eventually getting to 1984 in the daytime run. When I finally got Game Show Network in 2003, they were nearly the end of the 1985 shows, so I was there when it went back to 1976. But I have yet to see any significant number of episodes from the second half of 1983, 1984, the beginning of 1985, or even the second half of 1981. I'd like them to put the CBS version back on beyond March 1989 as well. Buzzr was putting so much effort into giving us fresh Family Feud '83 and now it's completely off the weekday schedule. Does anyone know if Buzzr is going to air the 79 episodes of password plus? Probably not anytime soon, but MG Productions YouTube channel has pretty much all of the early shows posted.

In fact, with the exception of the November 8 episode, the entire 1979 calendar year has been uploaded. I'd love to see Buzzr get beyond September 8, 1981 on the regular basis since that's the farthest Buzzr has gone thus far in its regular rotation. Boy are they close to getting into the episodes where the member of the audience prize plug is moved to the beginning of the 4th segment, so fresh episodes should pick up where it left off from there.

Just a heads up that due to Fremantle blocking the content ID’s for the episodes that were showcased during Buzzr’s International Women’s Day event back in 2019, the episodes from the week of March 10-14, 1980 can be viewed over at the Dailymotion channel of MG Productions. The remainder of the 1980 episodes of Password Plus picks up from there on Youtube

Password plus episodes that are situated on YouTube or Daily Motion isn’t going to help me much if I’m trying to complete a run onto dvd to complete my library of episodes, yes I can probably get them from those hosted sites, but who wants squashed down mp4 episodes

This info is more so for the fans who use streaming to watch and don't really collect the episodes instead of the more serious traders

Still only the 6/24-6/30 week has been posted so far, but it fills in the month of June, so: buzzrdata_202406.txt (50.28 KB) Note: My script originally marked the MG SYN80 episodes on 6/28 as new, because they originally aired in late Feb. when there was a gap in the schedule from 2/26-2/28. I manually removed the *NEW* markers from them.

Do you suppose the schedule for the first week in July is not posted at this time due to uncertainty of a potential strike involving the major broadcast networks after the contracts expire at the end of June? If memory serves correctly, there are negotiations scheduled for this week, and if unsuccessful there could be a strike starting on July 1, and could knock the major broadcast networks off the air until a deal is reached, just like ITV in the UK did in 1979 - and ITV was off the air for nearly three months then.
I think, based on history, most strikes that do not involve replacement workers tend to last, on average, three months max. The company usually feels financially impacted (which is what the union hopes for) by the three-month mark, and it tends to force the company to (reluctantly) give in to many of the workers' demands in order to get the company back on its feet and prevent further financial damage to the impacted company. Of course, companies in many cases would have to conduct a financial assessment after a strike, and would determine whether or not cuts would need to occur - most likely layoffs, if not done until a month after the strike is settled.

I thought it was established that a potential IATSE strike would NOT affect the channel in any way? First-run shows, yes, but I don't know about rerun channels. I asked a few people awhile back, and that was what they said. As for ITV's 1979 strike, Wikipedia lists an example of an emergency schedule for Thursday September 6, 1979. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_ITV#1979_disputeEdited to include this (just remembered): If Buzzr went dark due to a potential strike, there would have been concerns on Golden-Road. The last time IATSE almost went on strike was in 2021. There weren't any threads on Golden-Road that expressed concern about Buzzr. Finally, I don't see the schedule for June 30 yet on the official site. Only the text version.

It would affect GSN more I would think as they are currently producing new episodes of various shows.

Well, regarding the last time IATSE threatened to go on strike in 2021, it turns out a deal was made at the eleventh hour. Considering the continuous nightmare Hollywood was faced with last year's strikes, it wouldn't surprise me if a deal will likely be made at the eleventh hour this time as well. I am sure Hollywood cannot afford a second year of strikes in a row.
