1) I think something changed at the network. Now, they wait until it has reached where they left off to resume. In April, it had been three months since the last fresh episodes. 2) I think 980-985 were shown because it was an Easter theme. I don't think it had anything to do with copyright. Again, there have been many instances where they went back and showed something that they previously skipped. Hmmmm. Not sure what exactly must have changed at the network. So I take it that means they'll have to come to another airing of 985, before they can resume with 986 onwards? And wow - three months?? About themes. I understand where you're coming from, yes. Personally, I think if they'd just released every episode all at once, in order, instead of in batches, it would save a lot of time both for us and for them, without the need to "skip" episodes due to seasonal themes, and that said the episodes would have therefore been better aligned with the time of year. With the kind of modern technology we have in this day and age, digitizing one 22-minute episode should not take longer than an hour or two tops. Had they chosen to do it that way, they would have easily reached episodes 1000++ around 2021 or so.

Is Classic Concentration the only show you watch on Buzzr? I don’t think I have asked you this question before.

Is Classic Concentration the only show you watch on Buzzr? I don’t think I have asked you this question before. TBF yes it is. It's popular in the Philippines where I was born (I now live in the UK) and there is a huge "cult" following of it among many of my people. The only episodes that aired in PH were the ones dated between late January and early August 1991; they aired in PH in 1995 at prime time 6:30pm (immediately after WoF), and my brother and I were regular watchers of it so we do remember details of specific episodes. The first one we watched together was Episode 1036 (Terri vs Antoinette), and we followed it all the way through till roughly episode 1076 or so, when it was finally pulled from the air in PH due to complaints from concerned parents. That was August 8th 1995. For that reason, Classic Concentration still has sentimental value to me almost 30 years later, and it took me great effort to contact Fremantle back in 2017 to acquire at least six episodes that I saw - 1036, 1037, 1043, 1044, 1045, and 1047 (I actually wanted to acquire episodes 1036 all the way through 1076; but Fremantle wouldn't let me acquire more than six episodes total due to "copyright reasons"). It was costly; 100 pounds per episode

In any case, on the schedule they don't seem to be showing the original air dates of each CC episode any longer, so it's all a matter of tuning in to see what episode will be airing. It seems that every weekday for this whole week, we have four episodes of "Classic Concentration 90" airing between 6pm and 8pm GMT (not sure what that is in US timing), but we don't know specifically which of those episodes they'll be until and unless we tune in. EDIT: Looks like today's (Monday July 22nd 2024) airing episodes will be 837-841 (838 was skipped). So it may be possible that 986 will not be until after Halloween this year. (If this does change and any of you notice it before I do, please update here, thanks)

Usually they do list the episode numbers and airdates when Classic Concentration is fresh, so we should know when fresh episodes resume and not have to guess.

I do not think there is anything to worry about. None of what you said means anything. As for the 90 and 91 thing, I think Buzzr simply made a mistake. When they showed the final two episodes in June 2023, they forgot to change it to 91, and because of that, January-April 1991 are counted as 90. OK, assuming we gave benefit of the doubt here, then how do we explain the following: - the unusually large gap between fresh episodes (it has been more than 5 weeks since they aired 985, their most recent to date)? - the unusually large skip of episodes 970-979, a total of 10 consecutive episodes skipped all at once? None of this is unusual:
- The current gap between fresh episodes is not long at all. In 2019, there was an over six month gap.
- Nine consecutive episodes have been skipped before, #'s 325-333 = 9 episodes.

Buzzr has had a smaller number of fresh episodes this year for reasons that would be only speculation on our part. They (so far) have given us 56 fresh episodes of Classic Concentration this year, and over 900 episodes since it premiered on Buzzr, and they do a pretty good job of cycling through a range of those episodes. Fans of every other show on Buzzr who love such dire treatment.

You got that right. There are other shows that could’ve had the treatment as Classic Concentration with freshness, though I’m grateful that Buzzr got over 900 episodes of the show as it did given it wasn’t rerun on GSN when I was a viewer of the channel during its late green ball era. The 1970’s version of Let’s Make a Deal, Double Dare 76 and Trivia Trap come to mind plus the first 100 episodes of the original Blockbusters

I would agree with you as far as the "speculation" bit is concerned. 56 fresh episodes in one year is a little too few IMO, especially when this version (the Two Strikes 2.0 format) is by far the rarest and (therefore) most coveted of the several versions of CC. Maybe it's just a cultural thing, but where I come from, when a TV show on-demand is released online, all the episodes just come out on the official TV network's TV-on-demand webpage and all can straightaway be accessed for viewing. It's not usual to just release a few episodes and never give any prior notice as to when the remaining episodes will be released - it's a bit like making a payment in installments and not specifying a time limit when the balance will be paid in full, if that makes sense. If Buzzr isn't intending to release the remaining CC episodes anytime soon, I think the least they could do is make it explicitly clear when they intend to do so, if at all. It's not fair that they keep us waiting for the hare to turn up like this - it's not only wasting time, it's also a little disruptive to our schedules as we're all busy people. If they don't intend to release the remaining episodes, fine, at least they should say so and make it clear.

The Two Strikes 2.0 format was the format least seen - only a few isolated episodes here and there. That is why it is so coveted now. Surely Buzzr can understand the meaning of demand / supply?

New schedule posted. To Tell the Truth and The Price Is Right are still fresh. For TTTT, it is going on for a little longer than last time. yaggy will be happy to hear this. Let me know if I missed anything like those three Password Plus episodes last week.

Thank you as always for the schedule update. While it is awesome that Price Is Right will keep going for the whole 1984/1985 season. I am sure I am not the only one that is a bit disappointed. It would be nice if Buzzr would get to airing some other fresh episodes of other shows but that may not happen any time soon.

Let me know if I missed anything like those three Password Plus episodes last week. Next week, Body Language #238 from May 10, 1985 is scheduled, and that's the one episode that hasn't been re-uploaded online yet. I hope GSC will capture that and upload it for us. We keep trying to get Imad upload it since the demise of his secondary YT channel. GSC also might not have #239 nor #240 of Body Language yet but is scheduled next week.

Does anyone know the broadcast dates of Price Is Right for this week and next or possibly the week after?
