It's great that Buzzr decided to air the episode and blurred Debralee Scott's breasts from being exposed which was originally not censored on NBC or GSN. I'd rather have that than not the episode at all. Tonight is the last "fresh" Password Plus episode for quite a while it seems. Then I can go back and complete Classic Concentration which I'm at the last week of 1987.

CardSharksFan8689 tykwondo Apparently, The Carruthers Company did two different intros for the Halloween episode that just aired. The proof? Look at the different way Peter says they're about to introduce today's three players at the start in both versions. Look at the obvious editing in the GSN copy when they transition to showing the artwork the kids sent in for Halloween. And in the GSN version, it rejoins with the Buzzr version when Peter introduces Bob, contestant #1. Also, look closely at the edit in the end credits, listen carefully to the music. Notice there isn't a jump cut in the music. It is perfectly in sync with both versions of the end credits. To put it quite simply, this did not look like a hack job from Buzzr. UPDATE: Upon looking closely at both intros, I believe the one on Buzzr was the original introduction for the episode. The transition to the contestant interviews looked smoother. For the other intro, however, it clearly looked like it was done in post-production (or pickups) and was not part of the original taping of the episode. The backdrop behind Peter changed a little, too. Now, as for which version aired originally (perhaps it varied depending on the affiliate?): I don't know. We don't know.

So I guess the last weekend of June will probably be the one with the Bud Collyer era of To Tell the Truth in color. If you saw the beginning of the promo, a clip from what looked like a last season color episode with Collyer was shown; I knew it was from the lights around the giant door where the contestants stood. The clip looked a bit sped up; the way the door moved up was faster than how it is actually done on the show the show (but that happens from time to time in Buzzr promos, so of course, it won't actually look like that when they show them).

Hmm. Does this talk about To Tell The Truth supposed to be telling us that "new" color episodes are NOW and thru June 23 being shown on Buzzr. Or are new episodes NOT currently on thru 6/23 or is there some other message about these shows trying to be communicated? Maybe it's a decoder ring needed to decipher the partial and I might add incomprehensible information bits being written. Some clear simple facts would be nice.

OK, I can be direct. Are the afternoon color To Tell The Truths that are supposedly NOW being shown on Buzzr all new? If so, are they going to be new thru 6/23? I haven't heard anything about new color To Tell The Truths for a while till the past couple mystery messages.

Great, thanks for a nice straight answer. The mystery messages are those that just appeared here yesterday talking about To Tell The Truth. I didn't know whether they were trying to say new episodes are going on now till 6/23 or just what they were trying to say. That's what I call a "mystery message" when the message is not clear and straightforward and understandable. I feel I'm explaining the obvious, but I aims to please.

Apparently, there's been a change of plans for PYL this Saturday. Instead, the two episodes are #518 and #519 from September 18-19, 1985; both of them feature Cathy Cisneros (formerly Cookie Young), who will be on the new PYL. And for Eubanks Card Sharks, it's #541-#542 from February 22-23, 1988 with Christina Carter, who will be on the new CS.

Nice to see the new shows bring back contestants from the original run. Scott Hostetler, Janie, and Ed Long could maybe be brought back to the new PYL at some point(James Larsen died a couple of years ago)
