Things like "Hey Chrome User, you have won such and such..." I don't notice it when browsing on my computer, but I do on my phone, which doesn't have as good (or any) popup blocker.

The popup ads that you're seeing have to be reported. Screenshot and post the ad next time you see it. I'll report it to Proboards.

I rely on Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, and there seems to be no pop-ups prevalent.
