Anybody else watch this last night?
If not, here it is in a nutshell.....the show is basically “The Wall” with a wheel instead of a wall. The gameplay and presentation are very similar.

That is precisely what I was thinking. I was very unimpressed with it.

Yep, it was all there....the hero contestant, the friend/significant other that decides for you when to stop, the celebrity “executive producer” (Justin Timberlake in this case, Lebron James on The Wall). Andrew Glassman created both shows, so I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise that they’re so strikingly similar.

I recorded the wrong time (thought it was at 8) and had to watch it On Demand Friday night. At first I was thinking it was a copycat of the Wall but then there were some twists and fun features. In The Wall, the contestant either wins or loses money AFTER they answer the question. In Spin The Wheel, the contestant can still win money even if they get the question wrong, but they add BACK TO ZERO spaces which the wheel reminds me of The Big Spin. Even though the contestant has a partner like The Wall, the partner is the one that controls the decisions of doubling the value and if they decide to accept a Walk Away offer never answering the questions where in The Wall, the partner ALWAYS answers the questions and has to make the big decision of signing the contract or tearing it up. So although both shows do have eerily similarities, they are still two shows of their own and Spin The Wheel was also intense especially when the MILLION and wedges where the contestant could "split" up to four spaces the value of the wedge they won. I really liked that so there were three $667,000 spaces at one point increasing the odds of landing on a good space. It did end up 2nd in the ratings during the time slot (Holey Moley on ABC was number# 1 so it could last a while. And Dax Shepard did a fine job as host.

I just saw the show and have been addicted to it since it first came out and now watch it every Thursday and it's so fun to watch. And I hope it continues for a second season because it's so cool and full of thrills. And Dax Shepard is a wonderful host of Spin The Wheel and considering how great of an actor he is Dax certainly does the job well. I also found it shocking that Justin Timberlake produces it because he has been my crush ever since he was in NSYNC and I think Justin Timberlake will become a huge producer of future game shows at his company Tennman Entertainment

Last Thursday's show was very intense! I can't believe the contestant got to 4 million dollars at one point! And then having his wife make the difficult decision of the walkaway offers but took the very last one which was a smart decision because any back to zero, and all of those winnings would have been gone!
