(audience cheers with their mouths full, I join Goofy and Donald over at the prize area)
Greg: So, settling some land, I see. Marc, you've won a number of things, how'd you like some land? (singing) "Give me land lots of land under starry skies above, don't fence me in". 5 acres of land. You could have your own Green Acres, your own Northern--- no, that's in Alaska. The way you're going, if you win, you could build your own house. Can you see some possibilities for that land?

Look, I know how it is. But you're $40 ahead of Bob. You did all that buying in the first game and you still came out $40 ahead. If you do well in the Fame Games, the Brain Drain, and the Century Round, you'll have this in the bag.
I'd love to make you a nice, big, cash offer, but I've already blown the budget. Reg Grundy, God rest his soul, wouldn't want me giving away the entire store. I'll drop the price to $5, you'd be in a tie. And then, I'll... let's see, $9,800 for the land. Add $200 to make it $10,000. I'll throw in $10,200 in cash. (NBC ooooohs, NBC "yeah, whoo") I heard that NBC "yeah, whoo!". Let me see if I have it in my lectern. (I rush back to my lectern, pull out a stack of $100 bills, go over to Marc's desk, and fan out the cash) That's $10,200 right there. In total, $20,000. And all it'll cost you is five measly bucks!
Going once.... going twice....

No sale. (audience groans loudly, I walk back to my lectern) Well, so much for that. But what would a guy from New Jersey want with land in Maine anyway? Well, you keep your $5 lead. Back to the questions. 1. Who was the first left-hander to serve two terms as US president? 2. What 1998 war film was loosely based on the real-life case of the Niland brothers? 3. Give me the next line to this theme song with unsung lyrics written by Merv Griffin.Performed by the Dapper Dans. (the leader blows into his pitchpipe) (instrumental version)Dapper Dans: We're in trouble — trouble deep! We're imperiled and endangered. We're in trouble, yes indeed,

1. Who was the first left-hander to serve two terms as US president? (buzzcode: 99) *Bob buzzes in (85)*Bob? Bob: GEORGE WASHINGTONWell.... the answer I have is Bill Clinton. (phone rings) (I answer it) Hello? (pause) We're throwing the question out? OK. (I hang up) The judges have decided to throw the question out, there's too much ambiguity. Many left-handed presidents were either ambidextrous or forced to use their right hand when they were young. So, we'll come up with an alternate question. 2. What 1998 war film was loosely based on the real-life case of the Niland brothers? (buzzcode: 1) *Bob buzzes in (25)*Bob? Bob: SAVING PRIVATE RYANExactly right. (ding) Marc: $30 [GAME 2, ROUND 1, PART 2] Bob: $30
3. Give me the next line to this theme song with unsung lyrics written by Merv Griffin. Performed by the Dapper Dans. (the leader blows into his pitchpipe) (instrumental version)Dapper Dans: We're in trouble — trouble deep! We're imperiled and endangered. We're in trouble, yes indeed,
(buzzcode: 32) *Bob buzzes in (51)*Bob? Bob: "WE ARE ALL IN JEOPARDY!"I was hoping you'd get that one. Now you know why the lyrics aren't used. (ding) Marc: $30 [GAME 2, ROUND 1, PART 2] Bob: $35
Now, for an alternate question to replace the one I threw out. Alt 1. What children's toy started out as wallpaper cleaner?(buzzcode and answer, please)

(lights in motion)(singing) "I keep forgettin', she cannot talk for six months..." The $10 Money Card is at #6. Also, Marc, one of the spaces is holding a check for $20,000 in cash. We've also got something called a Double Play which ought to make things interesting. The lights are locked into your buzzer. Good luck and fire when ready. (a letter from A-I, please)
