Well, it could only be the beginning for you, my friend. Let's see, you picked up $50,000 gas money in the CashCard, plus the car. That gives you a total of... $293,550 in cash and prize. We'll see you and James tomorrow night for that rematch. Just a reminder for our home audience, get out your $5 bills because the winning combination tonight is 4-0-2-0-0-5. If your $5 bill's serial number starts with 4-0-2-0-0-5, you're a winner. If it's not, keep your $5 bills because we'll have four more numbers for you all this week. Ample chances to win. For more information and numbers from previous days, go to NBC.com/sale. As we leave you, Steve Anderson will have more information to share. One new player, Kyle and James will be back tomorrow night on $ale of the Century. Keep smiling, and bye for now! [LOT/CAR WIN CLOSING THEME]

(fade in to Greg at empty set) Greg: I know it seems like we do this a little too often, but we are dedicating this episode to two people who were important to the game show community. First, former announcer Don Morrow passed away peacefully in his sleep with members of his family at his side on October 27, 2020; just shy of his 94th birthday. Don replaced the late Jay Stewart in 1988 and continued with the show until its cancellation in 1989. I interviewed him in 2011, and he gave me this advice: (quote) "3 words of advice for anyone entering any desirable field….persistence, persistence, persistence. If you don’t have it, go on welfare." (close quote) The second person this episode is dedicated to is Alex Trebek. He passed away November 8, 2020 at the age of 80, following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. There is not enough time nor enough words to express how he has influenced the lives of millions of Americans. Nor will there ever be. Alex was part of the NBC family, and in a way, the American family for 47 years in America, even longer in Canada. He will be missed. IN MEMORY OF:
DON MORROW (1927 - 2020)
ALEX TREBEK (1940 - 2020)
