It has been a few years since I’ve last searched for a 1986 bowling game show my father was a returning champion on, called Ten Pin Alley. It was hosted by former Tarzan actor Ron Ely, and cohosted by Lisa Donovan, the same duo from Face the Music. As the show was never picked up in the Orlando market, our family has never seen this footage. I recently contacted Mrs. Donovan, and got an email through to Mr. Ely, but still am stumped. I’ve contacted the game show network, with no luck, as well as the Library of Congress. Any clues at all would be much appreciated, and could possibly lead to finding this loss piece of American game show history.

I remember this story getting mentioned before back on alt.tv.game-shows years ago. The show taped in Orlando. There's no footage of this show anywhere. The company who produced the show went bankrupt shortly after the show was taped, and it's possible some people didn't receive their winnings. John Harlan, Face the Music announcer, announced the show, and FtM bandleader Tommy Oliver was associate producer. FtM director Lou Tedesco directed. The show taped and aired circa early-mid 1986, but I saw it on WMGM Atlantic City on Saturday afternoons circa Spring 1987. I don't think many stations cleared it.

These are great clues, and much appreciated. I just emailed the late Tommy Oliver‘s daughter yesterday, so maybe some of these other parties have some footage, as well.
I did get through to the former Atlantic City NBC affiliate, which is now a Univision station. They told me tapes from that era would have been destroyed.
It’s hard for me to believe no one has this footage. Is this rare, for a piece of TV history to have absolutely no living record?

Not all TV programs have had their tapes saved. Most game shows 50s-70s have seen their tapes lost, plus most of the first 20 years of the Tonight SHow and many others, Rerun value wasn't thought of as great for such shows.

Here's an article about the Tonight Show from the Library of Congress. Recordings of the show didn't start being saved until Carson purchased the rights to the show himself. May 1972 is when Carson started retaining recordings. The earliest episode I've seen on Antenna TV myself is from December 1972. blogs.loc.gov/now-see-hear/2014/07/heeeeeeeeeeeeres-johnny/

Most of the pre-Carson TOnight show with Jack Paar and Steve Allen is believed to be lost, too.

Actually, the show was shown on WAYK 56 (now WOPX Pax) on Saturdays at noon during it's run.

I would love to see it myself as my father and I used to go to the bowling alley where it was taped. It was near my grandmother's house and my dad lived in the apartments beside it.
