In the latest Sep 13, 1982-Oct 3, 1984 run, there were two abrupt jumps, one going from 5214 up to 5264 and one from 5313 back to 5264. With the stream preempted of course on Xmas Day for Dec 16 and Dec 19-23, 1983. Episodes from February 24-March 28, 1984 weren't seen on the stream

THey are scheduled to show at Noon EST today(Tuesday 12/28) the 10/3/1984 episode, the most recent episode of the 400. Either they show 10/4/1984, or go back to 9/13/1982, at 1PM EST today. Pluto's Twitter page says there'll be new to Pluto Barker TPIR episodes early in 2022. The current 400 episode cycle will be scheduled to go forward or start back in the early morning on 1/14

Note that the IMDB stream is ahead by quite a bit so they'll know first before Pluto/Redbox does if they'll jump ahead or go back to 9/13/1982.
First the takedowns would have to be issued and then hopefully an announcement of new episodes comes a few days beforehand. I think new episodes should come by maybe late January or perhaps February, however depending on how many episodes they'll roll out they might try to avoid scheduling new episodes during the Winter Olympics as much as they can.

I'm not sure what the Olympics has to do with it? Totally different audience/genre... Since they made an announcement on social media, I doubt they would tease it over a month ahead of time for eps to show up in Feb...I suspect we'll see new eps sometime this month...perhaps after this cycle ends.

I'd say there will be a few episodes for me to record in this next cycle, assuming it is 100 episodes as usual:
- Debut of One Away
- More episodes with On the Nose being played
- Christmas Week 1984
- Maybe, if lucky, the episode with the "Automatic" showcase (featuring "Automatic" by The Pointer Sisters minus the vocals)
I'd say, once we get into Season 15 and beyond, there won't be much more for me to record. Among the Season 15 episodes I intend to record are:
- The Season 15 premiere
- Debut of Add Em Up and a few other playings of that game
- November 3, 1986 episode with the Ultimate Picnic showcase
- Episodes with Kyle filling in for the ailing Holly
- The record-breaking show from March 1987
- The April Fool's Showcase episdoe with three trips to fake destinations
- The February 2 and 17 episodes
However, for Season 17, I will consider recording as many of the early playings of Spelling Bee as I can as well as the earliest playings of $uper $aver..
I read on G-R that Pluto intends to air all of the airable Bob Barker hosted episodes from 1982 through his last day in 2007, but just before the stream's launch in December 2020, I read an article leading me to think that they only plan on airing episodes covering 1982 through 1989. Which is right?

COVID could postpone the Olympics. China is on far stricter lockdown than anyone in the US is.

I wouldn't be shocked if this year's winter Olympics may end up getting postponed until 2023 at this point.
The decision to postpone the winter Olympics has yet to be discussed, as per Google News search.
China's lockdown only applies for Xi'an region as I post this. Beijing may not be in that region.
Regarding the PlutoTV channel, there have been no takedowns of any of the October 1984 episodes on YouTube as of this post, so chances are there are no fresh episodes until at least after the next cycle of September 1982 to early October 1984. Probably won't be any fresh content until much later in January or February.

Chelsea Thrasher said on Golden-road.net that she got hit with a Youtube copyright e-mail for the 2/1/1985 episode that was on her site, and this usually precedes a takedown, which precedes the new to PLuto episodes coming. Sometime on Friday AM, they'll be at the 10/3/1984 episode, so we'll see what happens.

For what it's worth, the October 16, 1984 episode has also been taken down. However, the October 25 and 30, 1984 episodes were not impacted - implying that those two episodes may likely be skipped on Pluto.

Or it's possible that the quality is low enough that Fremantle International didn't register and may survive the purge but air it on Pluto TV anyway, it has happened before, or they just haven't got around to it as of yet. My hunch is we'll get new episodes by the end of the month and the time will be ideal for a primetime slot to begin with.

Officially going back to 9/13/1982 at 4AM Eastern Time tomorrow despite 5442D taken down, but not at all surprising. More takedowns should be issued within the next few days, and we could see new episodes by 8PM Eastern on January 30, with 5424D (assuming it doesn't get skipped) to begin with.

Chelsea Thrasher reported on Golden-road.net that the 2/1/1985 episode on her Youtube page got kicked off. Seems to be an indicator that new to PLuto shows are coming on 1/30.

Looks like Pluto/Redbox will show the fresh new episodes first before IMDB does, as IMDB has just reset back to 9/13/1982 (over there they're running episodes at about 45 minutes each, and could be from a folder).
If we do get an announcement that new episodes are coming on the 30th, we'd have to hear something by the end of the week next week no later than Friday at the latest, or they could quietly drop new episodes like what they did with the 301-400 batch.
