Last episode was most interesting. At the advice of my co-producer, announcer, and friend, Steve, Kyle Simmons became the new champion, but we've invited James Greek back.
Kyle won the car and $50,000 in cash for a total of $293,550.
James has a total of $329,162 in cash and prizes.
Who wants to challenge these two?

Burton: (VO) Previously on $ale of the Century....3. What primetime soap opera describes "a series of rulers from the same family"? (buzzcode: 62) *James buzzes in (81)*James? James: Falcon Crest?(buzzer)Dynasty.(the phone rings) Stop the clock. (I pick it up) Hello? (pause, slight edit) Yes, I'll tell them. Thank you. (I hang up) After review, there is nothing that states a promo for Dynasty as “a series of...” as I described. The title of the show definitely describes definitely what I was looking for. The question is thrown out. James, you keep your $75. Kyle currently has a $15 lead. If the judges feel that the score is close enough to necessitate a make up question, then we will have it. [...] (time's up)Time's up, I'm consulting our judge. The scores that matter are James at $105, Kyle at $120. (shot of me on the phone, shots of Kyle and James, edit) Thank you. (I hang up) Good news and better news. The lead is definitive, Kyle is the new champion. However, James, you are returning for our next show. So, we have co-champions! [WIN CUE][RECAP MUSIC]Now, let me explain. On the next episode, Kyle and James will be playing from their respective Winner's Boards. Kyle, unless you should somehow win the Lot tonight, you'll be sitting in the Champion's chair. What matters is, both of you will be playing again in a rematch tomorrow night. [...] Lucky number seven. [WIN!]Stacey: The WIN! card.Greg: Next thing you pick is an automatic match. #14? Stacey: THE CAR!Greg: HE WINS THE CAR! [CAR WIN CUE, ALARMS GO OFF, SIRENS AND BELLS](Confetti and gold and white Mickey balloons drop from the ceiling, the audience goes wild) You've won the car! (Kyle quickly gets inside his new car)
(pre-opener, outside Splash Mountain at Walt Disney World] (BGM: instrumental version of "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah") (Greg is seen consoling Br'ers Rabbit, Fox, and Bear) Greg: Well, boys, it looks like you've been evicted from Splash Mountain. That is a tragedy. So, I got y'all a lawyer. We're gonna sue the devil out of Prince Naveen. Br'er Rabbit (voiced by Jess Harnell): Now now, wait jes' a minute. Don't he have sumtin' dey call "dip-lo-matic immunity"?
Br'er Fox (voiced by J.D. Hall): Yeah, he can't be arrested or nothin'.
Greg: Ah, but we're not planning on expelling him from the country. We're only going to file a civil lawsuit for wrongful eviction. I got you a great lawyer. (And in walks Gordon Bombay [Emilio Estevez], wearing dress pants and a D2 Ducks jersey. He gives Br'er Rabbit his card.) Gordon: Gordon Bombay, at your service. (he does a double take, to Greg) I'm defending animals, now?(Greg shrugs) Greg: From Walt Disney World, it's $ale of the Century.

(the doors open, and I run through to my lectern)
Thank you, everyone. Thank you, Steve. Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, this is the $ale. And it's a rather unusual night for us because we have not one, but two co-champions. You'll notice that our returning champion is joined by last night's returning champion, James Greek. The reason is, one of our questions was faulty, and the judges decided to give James another go in the interest of fairness. So, let's welcome, first off, our new returning champion, Kyle Simmons! (cheers and applause)
Now, Kyle, on the last show, you said your friends would be shocked if you won that car. Well, you won it. How are they, and you, taking it?

I'll surprised if you'll be able to fit that many people in there. Regardless, I'm going to do you a public service. To all those people in WPMI land who are carpooling with Kyle.... pay him some gas money once in a while! (audience cheers)
Anyway, good having you here again. And joining him, with $329,162 in cash and prizes, is James Greek! (audience cheers) Hiya, James. What do you want to say tonight?

I want to thank the producers for bringing you back, too. Now, here to introduce the challenger is Stacey Wren! (BGM: Mickey Mouse Club March) (Stacey comes out from behind the Fame Game board wearing Mickey Mouse ears and a '90s MMC jacket, and is accompanied by Mickey and Minnie to the lectern) Greg: Thanks, Mickey and Minnie. I'm not sure why that was necessary, but we'll go with it. (Mickey and Minnie wave to the audience and exit) So, are we looking at our newest Mouseketeer? Stacey: Yeah. You know, it's not a bad club to join. Ryan Gosling was a Mouseketeer. (she squees at that) Greg: I know, I know. Stacey: Anyway, check under your lectern there. There's something for you.(I look in the compartment in the lectern, and sure enough, there's also a 90s MMC jacket) Greg: Well, would you look at this? It's an MMC jacket. (I put it on) And look, it's got my name on it, too! I'm a Mouseketeer! This is wonderful! Steve: I've got one, too! (We see Steve in his Mouseketeer jacket) Greg: Awesome! Now, meeska, mooska, Mouseketeer, make our challenger appear! (As Stacey introduces the contestant, models of the opposite gender escort him to his seat)Stacey: Well, Greg, he works in management consulting and was once the Fame Game Home Viewer on the original $ale of the Century in Australia. From Sydney, Australia, here's Brendan Richards! (audience cheers, I put on a pair of Mickey Mouse ears, audience laughs) Greg: Welcome aboard, Brendan. Good to see you. Now, based on my understanding, all the home viewers that appear on the Fame Game get a stick pin and board game. Tell us a bit about yourself, including whether you still have the stick pin and board game.

I do data maintenance for a grocery service business by day, and I spend my spare time enjoying music, photography, travelling and doing community theatre.
The brief story behind my "Sale" Fame Game appearance - back in 1995, a teacher from my support class at school was a contestant, and she brought me an autograph of Glenn Ridge. After a few letters to and from the producers, my face ended up on the Fame Game board. I wasn't picked, but I liked seeing my face on TV for that brief moment. (The contestant who won that night later went on to win the lot just over a week later.)
I've also done two shows as a contestant, "Wheel of Fortune" in 2004 (and I'll NEVER choose car oil over sports clothes again), and "Celebrity Name Game" in 2019 (more success, winning $10,000 with my sister).
(EDIT - I don't know where the stick pin is, but I still have the board game - desperately in need of repair, but still...)
(2nd edit - I also met Tony Barber after he performed as a parody of himself in a theatre show just last year - he's a wonderful down-to-earth guy.)

Fantastic. Well, we hope you'll do well here tonight as well. But first, welcome Tony Barber! (Tony walks in, cheers and applause, he shakes hands with Brendan) Glenn Ridge! (Glenn walks in, cheers and applause, he shakes hands with Brendan) And Ed Phillips! (Ed walks in, cheers and applause, he shakes hands with Brendan) Our creative consultants, ladies and gentlemen. Brendan, you'd better not wash your hands for a week. Stacey: He's kidding, he's kidding. (to the audience, she makes a "hand-washing" hand gesture) Wash your hands whenever possible. The More You Know.Greg: And knowing is half the battle. (the three "creative consultants" walk back to their desks) Brendan, if nothing else, you have met Australian game show royalty. We hope you walk away with a lot more. Good luck to you. Stacey? Stacey: $20 to start.(the board initializes) Brendan: $20 James: $20 Kyle: $20
(Stacey exits) Greg: All right. It's Tuesday, and if you're watching at home, keep track of the scores and get your fivers ready. Here we go, Round 1. 1. What type of animal was Bambi's friend Flower? 2. Which month's name is derived from the Latin word for eight? 3. How many people dance a "pas de deux"? 4. From 1987 to 1992, what other major movie studio distributed Disney films in overseas markets? 5. Which political party was former British Prime Minister Tony Blair the leader of?(buzzcodes and answers via PM, please)
