Hello Everyone,
This year, 2022, marks 10 Years since April 18, 2012, when Dick Clark, age 82, signed off Permanently.
From what I've read in his Obit, I PERSONALLY believe that Dick Clark, because of his Acquired Disability after having Survived a Massive Stroke in 2004, would still be VERY MUCH alive today, helping Ryan Seacrest Rock in the New Year for the last 10 Years as he'd previously done since surviving his Stroke; instead, however, on April 17, 2012, he had a "Routine" Outpatient Procedure for an Enlarged Prostate at the local Hospital, St. John's Health Center, in Santa Monica, California and died 24 hours later at his Malibu home of a Massive Heart Attack.
Here's what I mean: PERSONALLY, if I were his next of kin--including his widow, Kari Wigton, and 3 grown children (including Dick Clark, Jr., known Professionally as RAC Clark, a Stage Manager for a number of Game Shows himself)--immediately after Dick Clark died, I'd have filed a Wrongful Death Lawsuit against St. John's where he had the Procedure, because of the fact he NEVER would have had his Massive Heart Attack had he NEVER had the Outpatient Prostate Procedure known as a TURP (Transurethral Resection of the Prostate for Short) at the Hospital for what was supposed to be Outpatient Routine Surgery.
Likewise, if I were his Primary Care Physician in California, I'd say to the Hospital not just no but HELL NO to the TURP.
Instead, I'd have Prescribed him Alpha Blockers e.g. Cadura, Hytrin and Florax, which would have not only treated Dick Clark's Enlarged Prostate MORE Successfully, but also kept him ALIVE and Thriving, Rockin' the New Year with Ryan Seacrest.
He'd still be a Disabled American, that which I WILL NOT dispute, but most importantly, Dick Clark would still be ALIVE at age 92, Rockin' the New Year with Ryan Seacrest every year since 2004 instead of Ryan doing it alone since 2012.
