I'm trying to compile a list of all the "Double Dare" episodes that featured celebrities (pre-2000s). Can someone let me know if I'm missing any? Thanks!

I've been told that these are also Welcome Freshmen cast members. So were there actually three Super Special episodes? The advertisements in Florida Newspapers seemed to imply that. And you're missing one with Don't Just Sit There cast members playing.

Fred Koehler vs. Danny Pintauro was from the technically Weekend Double Dare taped in New York. The "Don't Just Sit There" cast and the 2 Superslopomania specials were all at WHYY Studios. For the Family variation, here's the taping order with these 1990: Rain Pryor vs. Tina Yothers (#25) 1990: Tyrone Brown vs. Sam(uel) Vincent(#26) 1990: Wil Wheaton vs. Kellie Williams(#33) 1990: Jaleel White vs. Candace Cameron(#34) 1992: Zachary Bryan vs. Jonathan (Taylor) Thomas(#20) 1992: Chelsea Hertford vs. Tatyana M. Ali(#21) 1992: Natalie Nucci vs. Mark David(#25, taped prior to the very first broadcast of Roundhouse).

I just saw the same 1992 ad that you did, and they do indeed say that the "Clarissa" and "Freshmen" episodes of DD will be taping on February 6th and 7th. I have yet to find another episode in anyone's collection or episode guide, though.
I can't find anything about the "Don't Just Sit There" tie-in. Do you know which celebrities played or how many episodes there were?

I've seen just one episode with the DJST cast. They were Pus Monkeys (Alie Smith) Vs. Horrid Slug Burgers (Wendy Douglas & Matt Brown).

I found a clip on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-QOIhbNxoY) that says Alie's teammate is Jerry O'Connell. However, I can't find anything online about him being on "Don't Just Sit There." Marc Summers does refer to the kid as "Jerry," though.
Thanks for the tip, Vahan!
I'm having trouble finding a definitive answer about the syndicated version's end date. Anyone know that -- or a ballpark?

Jerry O'Connell wasn't on the DJST cast, he was from "My Secret Identity". Speaking of, the DD cast appeared on an episode of "Don't Just Sit There", was taped around the time Marc was about to appear on Super Password, The New Liar's Club and eventually Couch Potatoes.

The Syndicated version's end date? I know Super Sloppy Double Dare had new shows as recent as June 1989, based on the commercials from the just-surfaced Raging Raskals Vs. Looney Barbarians episode. But when was the exact final new episode to air before September rolled around? I don't know.

I believe the last new first run episodes of the affiliated stations run was July 14, 1989 but there were markets out there were still airing the WHYY episodes that day before switching over to the Univeral Studios FL episodes the following Monday, being new first-run episodes for those markets. There were several WHYY episodes that originally had 3 prize plugs and a Reebok fee plug that were redubbed in the June 1989 affiliated station rebroadcasts, which may include the first Superslopomania episode.

They were pilots, but in 1987, Bruce Jenner hosted Celebrity Double Dare pilots with Heidi Bohay and Scott Baio, and a clip of Stuart Pankin playing was seen in the open for that pilot.
