I know this is a show, but it's about more than one game show so it's going here unless proven otherwise.
How many episodes ran prior to tonight, and am I going to be lost if I tune in for the airing tonight?

It's streaming on Hulu. You won't be lost, it's a light documentary. In the first episode, they covered a lot, but not in any depth.

How did they get a hold of the very first episode of the infamous Twenty-One? Does the entire run exist somewhere?

this was a great show I reviewed it on a different board (either J or Gold Road).
it was a great series nice historical bits. they even bothered to cover the original version. The wheel of fortune was nice too. that was probably not the best clip of him doing his weather man job being there was little weather being discussed. deal and no deal was also nicely covered along with let's make a deal.
but it should be noted for some reason they had logo clips with gsn in the view. The clip with Safe crackers did not even blur the logo and it got worse as the weeks went on with this trend continuing in the future episodes but thank goodness someone told them you are supposed to blur the logos. even fan competitions require you to do that behaviour, if you turn in logos without bluring to one of those things you get disqualified (and that's a generous one, most do not allow it at all). and this stuff that they did it with its from the 1990s I might have even understand if this was 'wiped material' but did they not have access to the episode from the vault , because it was inconsistent some of the clips did not have the logo in the beginning in terms of price is right.
