Found out today from a credible source (Yahoo News) that many prime-time scripted shows will start their new (but short) seasons as early as February after the Super Bowl. However, Abbott Elementary and all of ABC's Wednesday night comedy shows launch their new seasons on February 7. In fact, Abbott's season premiere will be a one-hour episode. Another source cites that 14 episodes of Abbott will be produced for Season 3.

I'll definitely consider subscribing to Disney Plus by early February. I don't buy the claims about the demise of Disney Plus on "Inside the Magic". If Disney Plus was really going offline by the new year, credible sources such as Variety and The Hollywood Reporter would have reported it by now.
