Hello Out There From TV Land,
I just had a wonderful idea a bit ago: as I'm sure you know, on June 7, Pat Sajak will be taking his final bow at the "Wheel of Fortune" and retiring into the Sunset, enjoying MANY happy years of Retirement, with Ryan Seacrest set to take over this Fall.
That being said, my idea is this: similar to when Ken Jennings, Mayim Bialik and Vanna White played a special edition of ABC's "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune" for Charity, I'd LOVE to see a Special Edition of regular nighttime Syndicated "Jeopardy!" at some point this Fall where, for the Charities of their Choice, Ken Jennings, Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White, respectively, played "Jeopardy!" with Buzzy Cohen filling in for Ken as host for one night only.
If I were Johnny Gilbert, my "Jeopardy!" intro for this Special Occasion would be like this: "Let's meet today's Contestants...A Software Engineer, Originally from Seattle, Washington, Ken Jennings. A Radio DJ, Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Ryan Seacrest. AND An Actress and Model, Originally from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Vanna White." (Referring to their original Pre-Fame Occupations)
Does THAT sound great or what?

After Ryan Seacrest was announced as Pat's replacement on Wheel of Fortune, on January 19th, 2024, I messaged Celebrity Wheel of Fortune on Facebook:
"If another season of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is taped before Pat Sajak retires, new host Ryan Seacrest should be a contestant on an episode of Celebrity Wheel of Fortune. And likewise, after Ryan takes over, Pat should be a contestant. Thank you."
