It's a three, is that right?
(bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
It's not, tough call here James, is that fourth number higher or lower than three?

James has rolled a two, is that last number two?
(bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz)
It is not a two, is it higher or lower James?

James says higher than a two.
(ding)
Well James, those threes worry me, especially the first one. Back in 1992, Price had only recently changed their props to allow for five-digit car prices, so I'm worried that first three is a one or a two. How are you feeling about it?

I am worried too. I am not the best at guessing prices. I just hope to god I am right!

Alright, well let's go from right to left then because I can't for the life of me remember a car price on Price that ended with a one. So, I'm pretty confident you've got that last number right, so let's light that one up please.
(ding) (audience applauds)
Now, you went against the odds with the fourth number. If it's a one or a two here, you're good, but a four, five or six and the game is over. Was that just a gut instinct or why did you decide to go lower here?

I think it was a gut instinct

Okay, let's see if your gut instinct paid off. Is that fourth number lower than three?
(ding ding ding) (audience cheers)
It is! Good call there James!
Now, let's cross our fingers that this was at least a fourteen thousand dollar car back in 1992.
Was it?
(bzzzzzzzzzzz) (Losing Horns) (audience awwwwwwwws)
Yeah, I was afraid of that James. I'm so sorry, you played that game well, but rolling a three there was kind of unlucky. You went with the odds there, but as it turns out, you should have went against the odds as you did with the other three.
Let's take a look at how the actual contestant fared trying to win this car back in 1992!
(NOTE: I've tried to have this video start at the right spot, but if it doesn't, start it at the 13-minute mark) (NOTE: Video spoiler below follows, so watch first if you want to see it play out)
In this case, Kelly also played Dice Game and she also went against the odds successfully as you did, but she got slightly better rolls that went her way and she won that car 32 years ago!
James, not to worry. You'll be making a bid in our Showcase Showdown a little later on and you might still end up with $11,000 cash out of that deal, so stay tuned for that! (audience applauds as I shake James' hand and he then exits the stage)
We're just getting started, but to continue, we need another player! Who wants to come on down now?
