It was both Quincy Jones & Bill Cosby who composed Chump Change. It was originally the theme music for The New Bill Cosby Show (1972-1973). Mr. Matté/MrMatteNWk claims that the reason Jones & Cosby weren't credited was because "Goodson had good foresight about Cosby", but actually, it was because composers of pre-existing songs that were used on game shows generally weren't credited, though Alan Thicke, the WOF composer from 1975 to 1983, was never credited for some reason. He was credited on The Diamond Head Game and Whew!.

As per posts on Usenet at the time, he and David Salzman tried in 1996(Salzman and Jones co-produced Fresh Prince of Bel Air) to pitch new versions of Name that Tune and Treasure Hunt, but neither one came to fruition
