Small peculiarity in the airings of STYD over Christmas week. "New" episodes will air in the 12pm ET hour on 12/25 and 26.

New as in new to GSN - the continuing of the episodes they are airing with this lease. Every STYD episode as of now is "new" in GSN's terms (unless they come across the one they aired for 50 Greatest Game Shows in 2006).

I've also noticed in yesterday's second airing, there was a gift box left from the bonus round of the previous aired (taped?) episode in the upper portion of the set. I guess a stagehand forgot to grab it and store it backstage. There's also a contestant that will appear later in the season with the name of Elvis. I'm not kidding. The Shop Til You Drop episode with the contestant Elvis aired this afternoon, Here's a little surprise if you didn't catch the episode, Elvis and his wife Jessica made it to the Bonus Round and won the trip to Barbados in an amazing ending today Hope you enjoy the little recap Fandude41, Kelsey

Was Shop 'Til You Drop a guilty pleasure for some of you?

Was Shop 'Til You Drop a guilty pleasure for some of you? Only the endgame. The rest of it, not so much. Mind you, there's nothing wrong with a game show where the endgame trumps all other concerns -- all I have to do to prove that statement is to simply say the word " Pyramid" -- and a bad show can (almost) always be saved by a good bonus round. In the case of Shop Till You Drop, however, it suffered too much from "Stone-Stanleyitis" for me to give it more than a solid C, and most of that is on the strength of the endgame.

Was Shop 'Til You Drop a guilty pleasure for some of you? Oh yes Jason Shop Til You Drop was a guilty pleasure for my mother and I and every afternoon after we would watch The Young And The Restless we would spread a blanket on the living room floor and have our lunch picnic while watching Shop Til You Drop together and it was such great mother-daughter time and that's what Mom and I used to do when I was young. But now I perfer to watch my game shows by myself in private. Sometimes during the Bonus Round of Shop Til You Drop Mom would guess the prices of the items correctly and when Pat Finn would say the price right I would tell Mom "He guessed your answer right" and she would laugh and laugh. But it still remains one of my best game show memories with Mom and one of the times that Mom and I were very close to each other, Kelsey
