Shop Til You Drop has now been dropped from GSN's Sunday schedule and now replaced by The Newlywed Game in Shop Til You Drop's spot but as I told everybody in my last post you can still see Shop Til You Drop weekdays at 1PM-1:30PM, Have a great night everyone, Kelsey

Shop Til You Drop is back on sunday nights. And a sigh of relief can be heard from the displays at Von Schiffendecker Furniture. (For those of you keeping score at home, Von Schiffendecker is one of the "stores" on STYD. I believe it's on the lower floor...)

Yep, and that's where the big money items usually are. Not always the best place to go when you're looking for the "Shopper's Special" in the stunt rounds though. You can always count on it being in a store like Gift's Galore or Andrea's Art Attack since they usually have the cheaper prizes. I like STYD. I find it entertaining. Great to see it sticking around. Needs more of a certain other shopping show. I'll let you figure out what it is.

That's strange. Every time I watched, the teams usually went UPSTAIRS for the first two or three floors...

Yeah, they do. That's my strategy as well. Get two or three from the top floor and use the last of your energy on the bottom where it's much easier to grab the gifts.
My six go to stores in the final round: 24 Karats, Leslie's House of Music/Bob and Steve's Camera Shop (interchangeable), Leather and Luggage Rack, Sally's Bedding and Beyond, Heidi's Housewares, and Von Schiffendecker's Furniture. Chez Gourmet and Gary's Gadgets aren't bad stores either. Later stores like Decker Marcus Department Store, Good Time Charlie's Clocks, and J&B Sports of All Sorts are good ones as well.

The Shop Til You Drop episodes that are shown on GSN on Sundays. Are they the episodes that the Family Channel showed in the 90's when the show was renamed The All-New Shop Til You Drop? Because I learned in my trusty encylopedia that Family Channel also used to air Shop Til You Drop in it's game show lineup, Kelsey

So I guess it's safe to say that STYD is gone from weekends for good? I don't want to see this show get dropped from the schedule.

I don't watch such show, but I heard rumor on Facebook that GSN picked up the rights to the Family Channel version. I learned that it aired originally from 1996 to 1998. If I remember correctly, that may be the only show from the 1990s to air on GSN's schedule at this time. It seems as if GSN is really spending a lot of money on Shop Til You Drop reruns, and it seems as if, every few months, we see new-to-GSN episodes.
Either way, it really is nice to have regained diversity of shows from the last five decades airing on GSN, since we were lacking 1990s material since GSN dropped Millionaire.

There is a Shop Til You Drop discussion board in the Modern Era section of here if you want to talk more about Shop Til You Drop. The Shop Til You Drop episodes that GSN airs are the PAX Version and the only difference between the Family Channel Version of Shop Til You Drop and the PAX version is that the announcer for the Family Channel version of Shop Til You Drop is a guy by the name of Jason Scott Lee and Dee Bradley Baker joined after Jason Scott Lee left the show, Hope I helped you out Cardsharks8689, Kelsey

Saw two of the newer episodes yesterday and wow. It's definitely gonna take some getting used to the new stores from that season. No more Von Schiffendecker's/Kanthony's, no more Chez Gourmet, it feels weird. I don't remember much from this season of STYD. But they kept stores like Heidi's Housewares and Gifts Galore, so that's something.
I am glad to see these newer episodes though. Very refreshing.
