What kind of game shows would you like being made in the future. This thread is all about your future game show ideas and I would love to hear your future game show ideas, Here's mine, This is a favorite game of my mother and me and I think it would make a great game show in the future, Bejeweled, Host: Howie Mandel, Announcer: Gary Kroeger, Object Of Game: Three players have the chance to earn gems by answering trivia questions and for each question answered earns the player one gem to place on a TV monitored gem board but however if a contestant misses a question the gem will be removed and will be passed to the next player and if a player matched three gems in a row they get 100 points and have a shot at the bonus round later on in the game. At the end of Round 1 they will be a signal of three beeps meaning that it's time for Round 2. And in Round 2 the money is doubled and the gem board is even tougher with Flame Gems and any player that is caught with a flame gem will be out of the game and the points in Round 2 will be up to 1,000 points for every player that matches three gems in a row, Bonus Round: The bonus round of the Bejeweled game show will be known as the Lightning Round and in this round the winning player will have 60 seconds to make matches of gems and for each row of gems matched the player would get 100 points and if the player matches all the gems before time runs out they get to keep the money that he/she won and players that do not win the bonus round get a consolation prize of an extra $1,000 just for playing., I think a game show version of Bejeweled would be cool and be true to the popular video game and with Howie Mandel as the host this show would be a winner indeed, What's your future game show idea? Since these are figments of the imagination, I'm going to move this to the proper part of the board.

Here's another game that my mother and I play sometimes during mother/daughter time and I think it would nice in a game show format, Jenga, Host: George Lopez {He hosted a game show on Fox so he deserves another chance at game show hosting}, Announcer: Michael Buffer, Object Of Game: Teams of contestants {split into two teams consisting of mothers/daughters fathers/sons twins brothers/sisters friends etc} have the chance to build a block tower on a screen by answering trivia questions to earn blocks to add to their tower but however if the team misses a question that block will turn black and be removed out of play and the teams will get 100 points for every answer right. In Round 2 The rules are the same with the addition of Super Blocks and if a player gets a Super Block after a question is answered correctly the Super Block will instantly add more points to the teams score but some Super Blocks may turn Red which can cause the team's tower to tumble and be out of the game. And the winning team will go to the Bonus Round, Bonus Round: How Jenga's bonus round will work is that the team will send out one partner to add blocks to a mega size Jenga tower while using mountain climbing gear while the other partner watches from below trying to cheer them on and help but if the team fails to add more Jenga blocks to the tower in 60 seconds they will lose but will be given cash for playing and winners will win the money they earned in the game and a vacation to the theme park of their choice, Jenga is a wonderful game that would work wonders in a game show format and George Lopez would be cool as the host and Jenga could be a smash hit game show for ABC Family indeed, Do you think so?, Kelsey

I'd like to see a full game of Cranium, and not that silly segment on Family Game Night. I'm very surprised a syndicated 21 wasn't tried

Here's a game show idea that any NASCAR fan and racing fan is sure to love and I'm sure ESPN would be a great channel to air it, Speedway Feud, Host: Darrell Waltrip, Announcer: Paul Page {For those of you who do not know who Paul Page is he was a commentator for ABC Sports during their broadcasts of Indy Car races and NASCAR races}, Object Of Game: Played the same way as Family Feud but with a NASCAR style as various NASCAR drivers and their families play against their pit crews trying to answer surveys devoted to racing and just like Family Feud the team will have the chance to steal the points and the winning team with the most points will go play in The Pit Stop Round {Speedway Feud's version of Fast Money} and if the team wins the game there will be a prize of $20,000 awarded to the team for charity., Other Things To Note: Speedway Feud will also have racing style sound effects such as the sound of a car horn when a checkered flag symbol appears {These will be used as a strike symbol and the car horn will replace the buzzer when a question is incorrect} And in place of the ding sound when a correct answer is revealed the sound of a race car engine will be heard as the answer "races" to the board, I think Speedway Feud will be great and having a NASCAR racing legend host Speedway Feud will make it extra special indeed, What do you think of this idea?, Kelsey

Here's a game show idea that would be so cool and I think it would be great in a game show adaption, Scene It, Host: David Hyde Pierce {Niles On TV's Frasier}, Announcer: Maurice LaMarche, Object Of Game:, Three players have the chance to test their knowledge of the entertainment world ranging from movies music TV and celebrities to important events in the entertainment world through a series of rounds with various games in each round, And the various games will include, Mystery Celebrity Puzzle, In the Mystery Celebrity Puzzle game of Scene It the identity of a celebrity's photo will be hidden in a series of squares and players will have a chance to guess letters in the celebrity's name in a 10 second time limit and if contestants solve the puzzle they win 100 points, Music To My Ears, The Music To My Ears game of Scene It will have the contestants have the chance to listen to a cd through a Discman like CD player and try to identify the singer who's on the cd and correct answers will get more points to add to their score, After a few more games a signal of Hurray For Hollywood will announce the start of Round 2 where money will be doubled, And the games featured in Round 2 may include, Hollywood History, In the Hollywood History game in Scene It contestants will be shown a series of multiple choice questions about celebrities and the history of classic movies and contestants will have to determine which answers about the movie or celebrity are true or false and for every correct answer double points will be added to the score, What's On The Tube, A game on Scene It which will have contestants guessing which TV show is played on a big TV and correct answers will earn the winning player a spot in the bonus round, At the end of the game the second and third place players will get lovely parting gifts while the winner plays, The Big Picture Bonus Round, In The Big Picture the winner has 60 seconds to identify pictures of celebrities by shouting out the name of a celebrity into a microphone in a big board and if the contestant correctly identifies 10 celebrity pictures in time they win a fabulous cash prize, Though different from the DVD game of Scene It the game show version of Scene It would be wonderful and CBS would be a neat channel to air it, What do you think?, Kelsey

Kelsey, if Trivial Pursuit can work on ESPN - albeit, it had a short life there - then Speedway Feud sounds like a great fit for the network, considering the game show flops they had (Stump the Schwab, anyone?) And the sound effects you mentioned would fit in even more with the NASCAR theme. Good idea, Kelsey. ESPN should get Speedway Feud on the air, Stat!
