This is the taping session that Buzzr started airing yesterday. There are still 3 fresh episodes left for Buzzr to air before this current package of episodes ends. Will be interesting to see if Lara and Larry's episode is one of them, or if that will have to wait until next time. After the taping session with the Bread Center and Manager's Special, there should be four more taping sessions left. One will be the Mother-Daughter week which had the return of the Crackerjackpot return. A second will have the Mystery Product, and a third will have the Shopping List (that is the one which features four or five regular episodes plus the one stray Champions episode with Janine/Ryan, Lara/Larry, and Matt/Eric). Based on the total number of episodes remaining from this season, there should also be a fourth taping session which I personally cannot account for because I have no episodes on tape from that one, nor are there any episodes online from that session. If anybody has any insight about that particular taping session (in particular info about the Big Money makers), that would be great because I am curious. I'm pretty sure the Frozen Yogurt returns. Things I recall from memory: Otter Pops is the final product in the bonus round and two guys fail to get it. Love My Carpet is a final product as well, the team fails to get it. A flower display is the final product. Two black ladies make it to the bonus round, and the final product is "Cracker Barrel Cheese", they fault get it despite it being right in front of them for about 15 seconds. David singing the melody to 76 Trombones and nobody guesses "The Music Man" Arnold and Anthony were a pretty rowdy team, them yelling "Dammit" when failing to get Dimetapp in the bonus round is as far a you'll get in terms of profanity on Sweep. A contestant takes an alternate route back to David in the Mini Sweep. Comet is the final product that Team 3 fails to get. Thanks for the info. Actually, I do remember the Otter Pops bonus round because I used to have it on tape, but that one was actually two young women and it actually came from the Shopping List taping session (the one with the lone Sweep of Champions episode in it). The other two items other than Otter Pops in that particular bonus round were Old Spice and Mrs. Dash.

It seems that week may have had most of the episodes from the one remaining taping session that is unaccounted for.

I remember because after giving the speech about Frozen Yogurt, David added an "Mmm mmm mmm"., which he didn't do in any of the aired shows so far.
The bonus round with the flower display may have been from Season 5, and I mixed it up, ditto for the guy taking an alternate route back for the Mini Sweep.
That means that there are 9 episodes remaining. Would that mean that there was a taping that only produced four episodes? Seeing as some had six episodes, Lifetime didn't have to worry about there being one episode short.

The one team on the episode currently airing is actually Bonnie/Tracy, not Bonnie/Barbara as I had posted earlier. My memory was faulty on that one.

Confirmed: The 1994-1995 Season had 24 tape dates. Here's a screencapture of stock footage from that "lost" session, courtesy of Matthew Austin. "Lost" meaning we haven't seen any episodes from it yet.

I believe that's Melvin and Yolanda cheering on the top left. I also believe that's Anthony in the black and white striped shirt in the upper right corner(with Arnold obscured).
You should probably update the guide, as we now know at least who was on some of these sessions. That still doesn't explain the other seven. I still say there are two more sessions, one that had five and one that had four. There's nine unknown eps, and the can't all be from the same session, unless the producers really wanted to fulfill the episode order.

Episode #1624 aired today at 1:30, meaning there are 26 episodes remaining. There are probably three more in the current session, six each in the three remaining "regular" taping sessions, and five in the Mother-Daughter taping session. That would add up to a total of 26, which is what is left.

Most likely, although we probably won't know for certain until the next batch of fresh episodes, unfortunately. There is one fresh episode remaining in the current batch, which will air tomorrow at 1:00. There are three possibilities as to which episode it could be: 1) Scott/Karen vs. Brandi/Sherry vs. Tom/Maria 2) Lara/Larry vs. ?/? vs. ?/? 3) An episode with three unknown teams. If it is the third option, we would know with certainty that this session has 6 episodes. If it is one of the first two, we will not know until the next batch of fresh episodes.

One last show in this current batch, and I think this confirms that this tape date had six shows. So Scott & Karen/Brandi & Sherry/Tom & Maria and Lara & Larry/? & ?/? & ? were the last ones of the session.

The last fresh episode that aired today was kind of a rarity, in that all three of the contestant teams were married couples. That was commonplace on the 60s version, but I don't recall it happening very often on Ruprecht's version.

I am looking at the schedule for September on Buzzr And according to it Rick and Aaron's first episode of Supermarket Sweep should air on September 9th. The episode number is 1561. It may be wishful thinking though. I hope they show that episode this time as #1564 was seen twice in consecutive airings is what causes the actual #1561 being skipped everytime despite being scheduled as was, so when #1563 is scheduled, #1564 is shown instead. The Twin Car Giveaway preliminaries had these: TV Mystery Product: #1552-#1556 International Bread Center: #1557-#1561 Shopping List: #1562-#1566 And #1567-#1571 marked the return of the Manager's Special and the final usage ever of their alternative theme without the saxophone lead.
